Outstanding!
ОтветитьBuy a garage door or build a wood one.
ОтветитьYou could use a rocket stove system for your air delivery and you might be able to eliminate the hair dryer to. Going to try it.. nice forge though.
ОтветитьI am thinking about trying to start making knives and doing some u tube research. I don't have any knowledge about blacksmithing but I have to say you are one resourceful fella. Awesome video
Ответитьno nonsense hole in the ground
I can dig it
27 people dissapointed to learn that he takes all his tools home so they can't steal them.
Ответитьthat stuff that is coming off is steel oxide which is what happens when you heat up steel really fast there are no ways to get rid of it but there are a few powders and chemicals that can lower it!
Ответитьthis looks amazing I i am about to make this forge today just need to get a anvil
Ответитьlmao good job
Ответитьthis is the most amazing video this is exactly what I was looking for thank you so much you for sure got my subscription and like keep the awesome videos coming ill be waiting and watching thank you so much
ОтветитьHey there I'm just letting you know that all your videos truly inspired me I just finished up my forged it's to dark to show you tonight but I really want you to see it
ОтветитьDude, respect! You did a great job almost for free when others build stuff with expensive shit that ain't even working properly. Great work man !
ОтветитьWhat parr of new york do you live in?
ОтветитьAs a deer blacksmith I find this metal af.
\
Dig it man! Can't wait to try it out!
Ответитьhow bout cleaning the ashes inside the holes?
ОтветитьMan that's awesome! So simple yet super effective! Love it
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьYou should nail your anvil down
Ответитьdamn, you got a unique and beautiful way of talking in terms of speed and word selection
ОтветитьReally cool and cheap
ОтветитьThank you for the video and what exactly was that screen you used
ОтветитьHere I am designing this complex forge with removable fire bricks and lots of angle iron, and then this guy makes one that does exactly what I need with no money at all. I'm glad I saw this before I began construction! Well done, sir!
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьGreat video, was looking for ideas based on shit i have laying around and this is exactly what i was looking for. Awesome work and resourcefulness
ОтветитьCinderblocks are safe to use? Im getting ready to build my first forge and I've read that concrete explodes when it gets to hot
Ответитьgrate vidio i have just got started smithing and your design works great
ОтветитьI've heard that concrete blocks will explode under that kind of heat.. hope it's not true.
Ответить"Cause people around here will steal your shit" 😆😆😆
ОтветитьFor everyone thinking of making there own use bricks instead of the concrete blocks he is using when the concrete in the blocks get to hot, they explode and I don’t mean like a small firework I mean like a grenade!
ОтветитьJust letting you know I love this vid. I'm not a DIY guy but you're awesome and I wanna make this just to say I did it
ОтветитьDude, you’re a riot. Your style of narration, your demeanor — pure genius. I will watch every video because your deadpan delivery is awesome. If you get it hot enough, those cinderblocks will eventually crack, or explode. I highly recommend grabbing a couple fire bricks at Lowes or Home Depot. They cost almost nothing, like three bucks, about an inch and a half thick by 9“ x 4.5“, solid. Those will hold up to a couple thousand degrees. Put them right around the fire and you should be all set with the rest of the structure being cinderblock. Workshop of DEATH 💀😄
ОтветитьI would have shit comming out of me too if you were hitting me with that hammer
Ответитьif i were you i would move... lol
ОтветитьYou need to get a smaller hammer it is to heavy for you
ОтветитьYes indeed brother. And yes,it’s a shame ppl have to steal things. Keep on keepn on.
ОтветитьI thought this was cocks crack forge😀👍
ОтветитьI'll build my forge modelled after yours. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьJust built my forge with some 2x4's, dirt, sand, an old metal bucket (turned into a half tube) and a brake rotor.
Now to wait for the rain to stop so I can fire it up with the fuel I have on hand.... Wood.
(Have an old non working ratchet I'm gonna test it with).
This was great. If you can build a forge you can build a door. Great Video Bro
ОтветитьFound the Blacksmith Florida man
ОтветитьA simple but very effective forge. Well done!
ОтветитьDude, this is a great idea! The only thing I would do different is no back wall. If you have a back wall, you can only stick a long piece in so far, so heating the middle of a long piece may be difficult. I am definitely trying this forge.
ОтветитьDude this is awesome. Thanks for the video
Ответить"Workshop of death"
It's just all utility blades
Winter is coming...
Time to fire up the forge and make some weapons of destruction!
Your knives and swords are tools that will last lifetimes. The more you make, will insure a legacy of Cats Cradle Forge!
Even as a very amateur blacksmith this video is causing me actual physical pain to watch. I fucking love it. Excellent name too. Hopefully no one takes these videos too literally and does their research before going nuts with the cinder blocks and clay refractory.
ОтветитьThis video watches like Cleveland exists
Ответитьwtf
ОтветитьLove this.
