South Africa's Rail Agency injects around $3 billion to restore infrastructure

South Africa's passenger rail service has suffered severe disruptions since the COVID-19 lockdown. Large parts of the railway network were left vandalized and broken, plummeting passenger numbers to the lowest in a decade. Gains have been made in the past year, to restore the network and entice passengers back.
