How long is the barrel and what taper is it?

Plus you're not adding the price of the silencer you're not getting the price of the scope and you're not getting the price of the bipod

I guess you don't pay tax in your part of the town

2 to 3,000 for a rifle isn't a budget rifle for most people

and to this Day that stock is still 430$ great upgrade to any rifle.

For the value its one of the best on the market. Even a ruger rpr is around 1800 and I dont consider it that good. A howa with a synthetic stock and the 1500 action can be as cheap as 650-700. Mine was 750 because i got the 24" Kratos precision carbon fiber barrel. Overall cant beat the value. Lifetime warranty. The action could be smoother but I cant complain. Its smoother than a 700. Howa rifles are overall cheaper than tikka in the same range and I go howa.

Oryx is one of the MDT lines. It’s made by MDT.

BULLSCHIT talk done to sell the products. MDT is NO "budget" stock unless you compare it to even more expensive stocks. On that particular mdt stock he has, be prepared to pay an average 500 dollars

I just bought all the parts for a very similar rifle. Same MDT Oryx stock only in tan, Howa 1500 SA with 24" heavy barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor, MDT Oryx bipod, 10 round magazine, Warne rings and mounts, Arken Optics EP-5 7-35x56 scope and caps All in $1700. Cant wait to build it and start shooting.

My Defiance AnTI X action cost more than this whole build lol. But I wasn't going for budget or big money build either

Ive got a howa 1500 action in an oryx chassis as well, mine's 6.5 just because id been given a couple cans of the ammo already. I put a Maven RS3.2 on it (not super budget but not a ridiculously expensive scope either) and it's easily my favorite rifle I own! Saving up to slap a supressor on it

I live in Fairbanks and we have a 300 yd range here, so I was thinking of not getting into long distance becaus eof price and where I can shoot. But for 1500 bucks. Screw it, Im in.

I built the exact same rifle but added a Vortex scope. Great rifle. I haven't taken out passed 100 yards. Looking to take it out to 1000 yards soon.

Oryx is a very nice chassis.

Can get the same deals in Australia too. Howa 1500 in 308
MDT Oryx for $1100-1700AUD depending on barrel

Just got my Howa 1500 in 300win and got the Oryx chassis. Thing is a beast, sub moa with some Hornady ELDX. Can’t wait to go on my hunting trip.
