the “message” behind this movie is such bs. How is Riggs at fault for literally doing his job.

To me, John’s cancer, car crash, and loss of his unborn son all function differently in the birth of his ideology and its application. His cancer served as his motivation to make the world a better place (as he saw it). The car wreck provided him with the inspiration for how to achieve it. And the death of his unborn son provided him with the thirst for vengeance required to act on it all. This is also why Cecil is his first victim.

Ivan’s punishment is religious in a way because it represent when Jesus taught to literally cut your right hand off if it offends you. In context, he means it because he also teaches that your body is nothing and the spirit is everything. The PG lesson in all of it is to remove yourself from the opportunity to sin, not just to choose not to sin.

The one thing that makes every single film bullshit, but particularly this one is that Riggs seemingly has a choice to just go home, but the whole thing is already planned with the expectation that he will involve himself. Lmfao

There is one thing that I never understood about this movie in particular. I don't understand, when Rigg rushes through the door at the end, why didn't Eric Matthews just leap off the block before his head was crushed and then someone could just...correct him back up just like Art did before?

I mean yeah I know Hoffman was there and he probably would have just killed them anyway but...

I may be wrong, but if Jeff and Riggs had been in the others shoes, would they have actually saved everyone? Jeff was too slow and inactive when it came to his tests while Riggs was too quick and involved.

I had no clue that Addison was the girl that was distracting him from Cecil's attempt at robbing the clinic. I've seen these movies so many times too, what a big miss by me.

The opening trap has so many issues. First, it’s pretty obvious jigsaw planned for the lawyer guy to survive because he didn’t give the blind guy a tape to figure out what’s going on. Second, why did he wait until AFTER dude died to rip out his stitches? 😂 and then if his game with to set up the final trap he had to have known hoffman’s restraints were fake and he wasn’t in danger, right?

Saw jigsaw and spiral are all my favorite except the gory part

When I was a kid, I remember my mom took me and my brother to see this movie when it first premiered. That movie scared me so much to my core that i was convinced at the time that the killings were real.
