This Goose was MESSED UP!!!

PA Goose opener with The Branch Outdoors! Such a fun morning in the layouts to kick off the 2024 hunting season. It was all of these guys' first time goose hunting and they got to knock a few down. The last flock that gave us a good look, one pass before the rest came in one goose landed in the spread and we could tell it's foot was dangling while it was flying. Come to find out there was some netting wrapped tight around its leg which was connected to wrapping around it's neck which was super tight. It looked super painful so I'm thankful we got to take that goose to hopefully end what looked like it to be suffering. Never know what you'll see out while hunting, this just goes to show how taking care of your garbage and belongings anywhere outdoors can make a difference to our wildlife as this was fishing net of some sort which was tossed out or just sitting around somewhere by the water.
