Just a week before the big earthquake on April 3rd, 2024 in Taiwan (with a magnitude of 7.4), Linardo and I had the opportunity to visit Hualien City and Taroko Gorge, which was later identified as the epicenter of the earthquake. Despite the unfortunate event, we were fortunate to see the beauty of Hualien City in its full glory.
Taroko Gorge is still temporarily closed for further inspections. We hope for a swift recovery for Hualien City and Taroko Gorge, and we wish for others to also experience its remarkable beauty. 🫶🏻
