Can AMOUAGE THE ESSENCES COLLECTION Really Live Up to the Hype?

I was very disappointed... I feel like Amouage is betraying their herritage, and their direction has been distracted from what it should be. I sampled all of them, really confusing these releases were.

Hey thanks for sharing this videos. This got me very excited about these upcoming Amouage. Big fan of the house they have a clear identity and not give into the mass pleasing trap most brands fall into.

A pink pepper fragrance.... and an oris fragrance.... can't sound more boring 😬

Those bottles what a slap on the face. They don’t care what the people who line their pockets think. Hope it’s not spray on get an amazing profile. Then in an hr skin scent. I have Amouage Reckless leather too name one. The first spray is amazing challenging. Then in no time morphs into this bitter leather smell. Sad! Royal tobacco same! First blast wow then turns to ash. Silver oud same thing. King blue was the only one that shines throughout the life of the fragrance. Imo! I’ll have to sample all these first. King blue and silver oud were both $500 a year ago. Now on discounters for half the price wtf lol just wait if you don’t pay those crazy prices. They’ll hit discounters even faster. You control them! Remember that lol

Christopher Chong was Amouage That’s when they were great. Not so much anymore. New bottles look garbage to be honest. Basically look like some sort of clone brand bottles

I love watching your comprehensive reviews but I just wish you would also mention if the fragrance leans feminine or masculine in your opinion and expertise

After so many years of perfume reviewing, you still judge a perfume based off of strip. This makes no sense. The perfume can be totally different on a skin! You are not carrying around sprayed paper, but you spray on skin and clothes.

The aging of the alcohols in barrels and the perfume oils in wood chips seems very interesting.

I really cant wait to try these scents. I love that they are trying new things and not just resting on their past accomplishments.

Royal Tobacco is my favorite fragrance of all time. Nothing like it on the market.

Outlands sounds awesome ! I have only smelled a sample of Lustre....and it is good...but now omg wow.

I'm so sick of all these self-entitled children pretending to be seasoned fragrance aficionados, saying Amouage has gone down hill since Chong left. Yes Chong was great as CD of the brand, but obviously whoever came next would be different & be their own person. Salmon is also doing a fantastic job of giving us extremely high quality fragrances.

boxes look cheap..very cheap..like something you could print out using 3D printer in your garage..there is nothing that says luxurious looking at those boxes..

I was excited for the collection but now I'm just like.. "meh, I'll get around to it eventually"

Dang it, Sebastian, why did you have to make me want Outlands so much?? 😅 I'm also a big fan of anise/licorice notes, so I need to get my nose on this.

If you want to smell the best schinus molle extract, you should get a sample from Floral Concept. Run by daughter of the woman who founded LMR at IFF.
