When i started the anticonception pill, my body chainged a lot. My body became more curvey, and i got stretch marks on my thighs, booty, hips and even some on my back.

I’ve found that a moisturising lotion helps them fade much quicker, I use wither aveno or e45 cream both are pretty good and not half as expensive as some of the posh males

Keep the skin hydrated from the outside AND inside is the only prevention. Drink lots of water and use moisturizer forget oils

I have really deep stretch marks on my back and the back of my thighs , I've had them since I was a teenager ,it's genetic , now I starting to feel really insecure about them to the point where I'm choosing to be single just so no one would see them .

of course this is an n = 1 situation, but i gained about 50 pounds over the last two years and just began treating the stretch marks. somehow they appeared to be worsening as i lose weight, but thankfully they’re mostly still in the pink stage but some have turned purple/brown. my goal isn’t to fully get rid of them, but rather to prevent them from worsening and becoming stubborn streaks of hyperpigmentation. i’ve been treating them three times a day for the past week with a combination of HA moisturizer, dimethicone moisturizer, grape seed oil, glycolic acid, alpha arbutin, and 0.5% retinol. i massage each product in, and rotate the actives but still use a moisturizer and oil. i like combining glycolic acid and alpha arbutin as well. over all i’ve noticed a reduction in pigmentation among the darker marks, slight reduction in redness, and noticeable reduction in their raised/inflamed appearance. i’m considering incorporating vitamin c (since it helped significantly with other stubborn hyperpigmentation and scarring), but haven’t found an affordable and quality option in the right volume. the marks are mainly on my upper hips, very top of my thighs, backs of my knees, with less severe ones on my breasts, behind the armpit, and very upper arms (between the pits and biceps).
