The Fourth State of Consciousness | Eckhart Tolle (Sub ESP)

Consciousness is at all possible states simultaneously, only the illusion of time gives rise to the illusion of greater or lesser.

These are compassionately expressed distinctions that are mostly helpful. However @EckhartTolle conflates careful, real thinking with populist language terms. Real thinking actually entails "spaciousness". This limits his audience and, as a consequence, makes his argument a falsehood for others, who may move more gracefully between ideas and their abeyance (for example). Sadly, the downward entropic spiral begins before the author has finished a sentence. Also it seems to me that there is confusion regarding what the fourth state is referring to. For Gurdjieff, the fourth state is "objective consciousness" and the third state (self-remembering) aligns with "spaciousness". Hence there is truthfulness in the idea that the fourth state is hard to realise. Warm regards & trust this may be taken up.

Yeah yes my sister she says oh and depression but she just goes to the worst case scenario and everybody she knows on Facebook is blocked her cuz she has negative comments even to me all the time twenty years telling me the same thing that I'm a drug addict and I've been off drugs for 14 years but I still hear it all the time he has spina bifida and lost his mother and my sister 2 years ago and then shortly after he had an accident and killed a man that walked in front of him it wasn't his fault then you could afford is electric bill due to being addicted to fentanyl therefore he did not pay is electric and on the 21st when we don't hide that negative 25 degrees and pa was 24 degrees in North Carolina and He Los t3toes now he's back in the hospital gangrene set in and he lost all his toes he still has a wound that has me all Donna supper
He had green gangrene set in and lost all his toes like I said and he has a wound that needs sealed up that hasn't healed never year being in that situation so my sister tries to control cuz he owns his own house and land but yet he's in the hospital she doesn't realize he has to heal first so we're praying for speedy recovery and that he can get off this fentanyl prayers for everyone and light mode to my Daniel Pelletier who he lost his mom unfortunately to a seizure that happened when she didn't get her pain pump filled up she went into withdrawal and that's what killed her she died way too young 56-6 and our son has a mother in-law suite and they're very close and now he has no one there prayers please Daniel for Daniel Pelletier lives in North Carolina who needs help like a caretaker to come in he can use a maid to come in once a week for some help I live in PA so just please send some prayers please and thank you

I would like to know what the fifth level of consciousness is because I’ve already found the fourth level there must be more, because in the present moment, the fourth dimension of consciousness, with the mind quiet, vast, spacious alert awareness. It’s almost like nothingness words don’t really describe it, but what is the fifth level?

I really enjoy his videos. I am in such a weird state of being after a tragedy in my family and I am so thankful I found this man to help me with whatever is going on with me. He obviously knows exactly where I'm at in life. Very different from who I assumed I was all my 42 years of life. 🤷 By the way, it happened to me and it stayed. I became different almost overnight as I grieved. 🥹It does feel good, just very different.

Your videos always get me back on track if I'm off it so to speak. January of 2022 I had what I guess is called a spiritual Awakening or something like that. This event of awakening was created from a strong feeling of self created pain from past events. It was like all the self created mental pain and trauma which was self created melted and dissolved. I remember at that moment... actually just before Awakening that I had the thought and memory of times in my past when I just felt perfect emotionally and enjoyed the world at that moment. That day very shortly later after that thought their was a shift in my mind somehow. That memory I realize at this moment came from when I was much younger, and my mind was probably less burdened by life's traumas too. Since then I am reading your "Power Of Now" and I watch your videos and I try and absorb the knowledge you give. Life is so much better for me now. I'm actively working on realizing when my Ego is in action in daily events. So much mental noise we create needlessly and so much self created anguish. I've avoided usless Ego confrontations by being aware of the possible events before it happened.

Although it is clear to me where Eckhardt points to it might confuse a lot of people who are still ignorant in some kind, as only knowledge reveals there is no fourth state. There is a fourth factor to be precisely, but there are only three states. To me is crucial to know the difference. With this I refer to The Power Of Know.

This really resonated with me. I’ve listen to Eckhart for a long time and this is one of his most profound speeches.

I was blessed with a day of dwelling in that 4th state, nirvana or bliss. It was amazing.. everything I touched had an energy I could feel, the sunshine felt alive..all earthly things, like worry, money and drama…were irrelevant. It was a magical day. I always thought I had to work to get it back or do something but this wonderful man has told me that it is a part of me and is always there ❤❤❤

I've experienced this state. It's not exciting haha, it's not something that I'm drawn towards particularly. It happens pretty much most days anyway just a part of life. I call it monging out, not a particularly spiritual word for it I know 😂 kinda like the flow state where you just let your body get on with what it's doing without thinking about it and just watch. Like walking or breathing, playing an instrument.. Literally anything. Except that's more interesting version of it lol instead of just blankly staring into oblivion 😂

'A Dimension of Consciousness' '- 'That state of spaciousness is already in you all the time.' ......... how do I access it? I know it, I lived it for a timeless second, but I was in extreme peril. ... that dimension of Conciousness I want to access at will ... open that door and stay for a while . where is the water? XD

the 4th state of consciousness can be experienced instantly by practicing Transcendental Meditation. It is very easy. ♥️

I love listening to Eckhart, but the easiest way for most people to experience transcendence (the 4th state of consciousness) is to practice the TM technique. I transcended for the first time in my life in the first minutes after learning how to do the TM technique. That was in 1974. On March 15th I'll celebrate 50 years of doing the TM technique at least twice every day. It is by regularly experiencing the 4th state of consciousness that the 5th state, cosmic consciousness, is developed. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi taught that it was like dying a cloth. You put it into the dye and then let it fade in the sun. You keep dipping and fading until the cloth is colorfast. In the same way, we dip ourselves into pure consciousness twice daily and then fade the cloth in our activity. In time the higher consciousness becomes permanent.

Of course, there are even higher states of consciousness to be gained after gaining cosmic consciousness (CC). It all comes naturally and easily as one continues to meditate twice daily.
