Smart and effective ! :)
Ответить@sunnykoomos No, the tapered edge that separates the 2 pieces is not sharp at all and shouldn't scrathc the parts. As far as the part getting hurt during seaparation, I have tried this about 20 times with the same 2 pieces and they still snap back together like new and are just as hard to get apart... It's all in the mechanical advantage of the wedge part of a butter knife...
ОтветитьTHANK YOU GUY! :)
ОтветитьWhere can I get the pieces to make make this absolutely awesome model? :)
ОтветитьI actually also do the same thing. It is very handy I find.
ОтветитьCould you pls comment at my Unimog chassis at Mocpages (Kron13creations). You can also say whats not so good at it (LDD). I am only 13 so I hope it is good for my age. thx for reading. Hope you like it !!
ОтветитьI only posted this video because I was hearing so many horror stories of people having trouble getting these things separated.... One guy said he used 2 screwdrivers and wedged them in there and twisted opposite ways and just closed his eyes.. LOL...
ОтветитьI'll check it out...
ОтветитьI just did a search for Kron13creations at Moc pages and nothing came up....
ОтветитьSend a link to me via email or a message...
ОтветитьWoops sorry. You must tipe in ronald goedeke.
ОтветитьI wouldn't call this easy; the dark grey tabs on the hub are prone to break. It's very dependent on the knife's profile.
ОтветитьAlmost all butter knives are slightly tapered just enough to pop the 2 pieces apart... This method is much easier(and safer) than some of the stories that I have read about around the web...
ОтветитьIt didn't work for me. :(
ОтветитьWhat didn't work..? They didn't separate..?
ОтветитьYes. I inserted the knife like you showed but the hub did not come apart.
ОтветитьIt has to be tapered so when you slide it forward it spreads the 2 pieces apart...
ОтветитьIt worked. Seemed a lot easier in video but all in all effective. Thanks for the vid
ОтветитьThanks for sharing, solved my problem perfectly.
ОтветитьVery usefull! Thanks!
Ответитьthat did the trick, thanks!
ОтветитьWhy you would even want to separate the two parts?
ОтветитьVery helpful thank you !
