I'm really happy Bailey was recognized for her work. She might be tough sometimes but she doesn't demand a spotlight for any of her amazing work. She's so selfless and deserves this

I forgot to stay self conscious about myself being short or being partially heavy weight or having partially weird unique personality ........ I'm not very confident person or very bossy or even loud extrovert but Dr. Baily's character was one of the best reasons for me to learn to never lose any part of my self-confidence ever again even if I lost some self control becoming emotional or making mistakes , I have enough self-love and self-confidence to stay on the put of my mistakes and fix them 🥰😭

As much as I love Bailey, don’t think she should have got this award. This award is for breakthrough medical procedures and practices, she hasn’t done that. There are many people who do mentoring.

That award should have gone to Addison

I only ever watched this show from these kinds of clips and the bomb season bc an ex watched it at the time, but even i know Bailey deserved every bit of that award.

They normally call them to tell them they have been nominated for an award… the fact she didn’t know means it wasn’t even a contest, there was no doubt it was HER prize

“I taught them” when you realize 90% of doctors aren’t teachers, and she raised so many of them… I know it’s a show but them, Bailey has enough doctors she has taught to fill the hospital

I have been a long time fan and have watched every episode no less the 50 times each and I love Shonda's views but I wish she would bring both sides of the coin and bring back understanding from the other half of her viewers.

Bailey is so deserving of this. She's not perfect, but she's the toughest and one of the most intelligent and skilled surgeons in that hospital, in the world on Grey's. She'll kick your hind pots from one end of the campus to the other, but will also hug you or give you encouragement, go out of her damn way to make sure you reach your full potential if you work for it. She reminds me of a manager I had for 11 years, turned out to become a dear friend of mine.

If a real award actually lets a non-nominee win would be cancelled from then on

The fact that she has been so under recognized all this time that she had to look around to see who they could possibly be talking about, not even realizing it was her. Whew the show has gotten a little weird over the years but this was an amazing moment!
