Where did the Italia sicker come from (It suddenly appeared with no explanation)?
ОтветитьNice, I think the idea of home building your watch is fantastic!
ОтветитьSo what you're an experienced watch builder and we the not so experienced watch builders will have to take the watch apart to clean and oil it?
ОтветитьRotation mount same?, cylinder to cylinder? Pin score, rotation port.
ОтветитьIs it cheaper to make your own this way or just buy a ready made one?
ОтветитьJust a heads up... Your link to the parts list is broken. Can you kindly repost the link please. Thanks
ОтветитьI'm sorry, but charging $10,000 for what you just built for $100 is just asking the world to clone it. Rolex is overpriced and over-hyped nonsense.
Ответить❤ thank you Peter. You're a temptation to start building watches.
ОтветитьThe link to the website parts list is down 5/17/24
ОтветитьI already do it made about Six so far and they look good cost about £100 for all parts case movement dial strap hands and logo if you want one made a GMT Pepsi mod NH34 movement Mercedes hands oyster case black dial green lume indences I love it I made it about 3 month ago and not lost any time at all
ОтветитьThe dial changed half way through the video because Italia wasn’t on there before
ОтветитьOnly an odd number of olives? That's a new one on me. Superstition??
ОтветитьBand has to go no good
ОтветитьIs that a sticker on the dial
ОтветитьAmazes me how inexpensively they can make those watch cases. Hardly a flat surface on them. Multi-axis CNC I suppose. Program it and start cranking them out.
ОтветитьWhat's the simplest way to know which case to get for the movement piece?
ОтветитьI can't a dial with a slot cut out for the day. Any ideas?
Ответитьthank you so much for this nice video. From your personal experience, is it possible for a NH35 case to fit a Miyota 8200 movement? Has it ever happened to you? thank you
ОтветитьGreat video except the cheap RKY sticker on the watch face makes it look like dollar general purchase. It went from 8 to a 1.5
ОтветитьDo these cases from china have real sapphire crystals?
Ответитьhow did you make the logo?
ОтветитьHow can i email you sir ????
ОтветитьI'm thinking about doing a build with cheap ali expres parts, but I have a question. The spacer ring between the movement and the dial, the spacer between the movement and the case and the case clips (the ones you fold in the vid) are they included, or do you need to buy them seperately?
ОтветитьDoes the movement fit any size of diameter?
ОтветитьHey! I was wondering if you could make a nike triax as I am trying to. I just started getting into watches and I’m pretty lost on how to build one and ontop of that, what specific parts are needed. I recently came across a seller selling parts on eBay for cheap considering a triax goes for a couple thousand. Please reply that would help.
ОтветитьLove it, I'm going to start making my watches, very descriptive... how'd you make the stckers?
ОтветитьHi Pete Great Video!!
I¨m triying to build my watcg. Purchase a 8215 movement, came with a plastic fiting ring but no calendar ring.. what you recomend buy a metal date spacer?
Damn that thing looks ugly from every angle, the parts I mean. Finish on everything is bad.
Ответитьneed some help with selecting the right dial. watch cases recommend the dial size is 38.5~39.0mm. does it have to either be a 38.5mm dial or 39mm dial. or! lol. any thing between a 38.5~39.0mm dial? thanks. im new to this
ОтветитьI always wondered what happened to Elwood Blues
ОтветитьI take a pin and push it down in the second hand just a little and it will fit to the movement easier.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this lesson!
ОтветитьGday Pete, the link above for the parts you used for this build is broken. Can you re post it? Many Thanks Roger, Melb Australia
ОтветитьLoved the video , i am new to your channel and watch "crafting" so i have to ask where do i find the tools you used 😁
ОтветитьI love your video's, you should make a video where u case a pocket watch movement in to a wristwatch case!
Ответитьwhat's with that hedious sticker on the dial
ОтветитьDid you ever do a video on cast cases ?
ОтветитьHow do you know which case fits the dial?
ОтветитьGreat video sub today question how do you remove extra feet on dial just starting out my self practicing thank you for everything
ОтветитьOne good tip for first timers is before putting the hour hand on, set the time on the watch just until the date changes. That way the hour hand goes on at 12 just as the date would change making the date change more accurate.
ОтветитьThis is really cool. Thank you for taking the time to show us.
ОтветитьI have been using NH35/36 for my builds.
ОтветитьYou are so professional while working on watches. I inherited a Rolex from a dear friend. We were both in the service, me Marine and he was a Vietnam vet and was my hero. I got to take care of him the last 3 years. I got stage 4 tonsil cancer and he saved my life, I helped him back. I inherited his Rolex 16234 36 mm cream stick dial, white gold bezel. It means the world to me. I beat the cancer with my support staff. I'm blessed. I think you could help me. I want to take his 16234 and have you make a stament piece with US Marine colors and use the white gold bezel. Is this something you could do? I look forward to see many more of your videos. I have two other if it turns out good. Thanks for being a true watch professional. My great grandfather was a master watch builder and was Hamilton watch company General manager for years and years. I have watches in my blood. Lol. Neal Lee Apollo Beach Florida. Thanks
ОтветитьWhat tools do I need and where to get them?
ОтветитьAmazing video! I am just wondering if I wanted to make a Day-Date 128348RBR Homage but I want to make it my own since I want to do rubies instead of diamonds. but I can have that done by my jeweller. I am just a bit confused on how I could find a watch case that looks like the day-date and also have the flat surface for the jeweller to add the rubies. Is there any way you could possibly help in my venture? I am looking to also get a champagne dial but with no markings since I want to add my own logo and name on the watch. Please let me know if you can help keep up the great videos
ОтветитьGreat video!
