Sexual stereotyping has resulted in anecdotal, nearly mythological beliefs about penile dimensions in men of the different cultures of the world. Most men believe that 6 inches is normal, that people of color own penises of enormous dimensions whereas Asians are tiny. Anthropometric measurements tell a different story. Although there are considerable individual and cross-cultural differences, penile size is normally distributed in men. 6 inches are not average. But in rare cases, penis size may even be 7+ inches in Korean men. Dr. med. Dr. phil. Stefan Buntrock, urologist from Göttingen, starts a new video series on UroChannel, named Penis around the World where he reports anthropometric measurements from all parts of the world, published in the scientific literature.
