I tried contacting professors. I don’t agree to your fourth point. For masters, you need to reach out to professors for RA. But for phd, it’s not needed. I emailed many professors yesterday, i got reply that no need to reach out to professors for phd, as you get selected via normal application form only.

For 5th point. I don’t have any seniors or friends. How can i get an SOP?

Hello sir , I am Abhishek from India i want to do PhD from usa but I have two doubts regarding that -

1. I have 4-5 years of gap between ug and pg .can this gap minimise my chances of getting addmission in good university.

2. If I have mca am i eligible for PhD in ai and ml because some people says msc is most preferable over mca .

Apart from these two things , I am quite good in research and published 5 papers.

Recently I got admitted to a fully funded PhD position in usa. I agree with all the points you said bro except writing emails to professor. I think it didn't helped me in my case at least
As I got rejected to that university where I got positive reply from prof. And accepted to that university where I got no reply at all. Finding research supervisor is not needed during admission process as that we will do in our 2nd sem of phd. So yes you can go ahead without without writing email to prof. but make sure your research area and dept. research area matches.
