Great review man!
ОтветитьSo there’s no additional cost for the equipment? And they provide you with four of those (emitters?)? Sorry I don’t have the vocabulary.
ОтветитьAnother solid one my dude! I'm definitely going to look into this at the house. Would love to get rid of COX!
ОтветитьDude $30 a month is pretty solid 💪
ОтветитьGive it a solid month, then you will start to see TMO deprioritize your Home Internet speed in favor of cell service, and it's a major drop in speeds everyday from 5p-midnight.
ОтветитьT-Mobile uses CGNAT. Hence no port forwarding. The upload speed is also really slow.
ОтветитьI am happy for ya. I tried it earlier this year and it was real slow. I tried it again a couple of weeks ago and still no dice for me. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Happy new year to ya!
ОтветитьThanks for the review
ОтветитьDo you know if this internet will be good enough for PC gaming as well and work at home job I just order mine t mobile home internet it will be here tomorrow or Wednesday
ОтветитьI have T-Mobile internet 300-500 down last 8 months. Use hint control app to disable WiFi add your own router
ОтветитьT-Mobile is really good in my area but I have Fios so I think I'll stick to it.
ОтветитьI am jealous of those speeds. I have had T-Mobile home internet for about a yaear and the speeds were around 100, better than from what I had with century link. Starting in October the speeds dropped down to 5 to 20, with once and a while getting 40 maybe 50. As of a week ago for over an hour it just dropped out completely. I keep being told that there is a tower since November that needs service. As of last week I am now being told that the service will fluctuate from time to time. So I am not happy with their service but not a lot of options in my area.
ОтветитьLet be honest I have been a T-Mobile customer for years now, this network does not work well at all how could I possibly invest in a cellular based wifi when the cellular network itself sucks ass it makes no sense.
ОтветитьI just received mine today and I couldn’t be happier! I live out of the city and I was getting like 10 mbps download speed with AT&T and now I’m getting well over 150. Night and day difference!
ОтветитьMines don’t even get 100 download and only get 8 upload
ОтветитьI tried it and it just did not work for me. We have a local cable company that has fiber in our neighborhood. Cannot beat fiber. I did cancel everything but internet with the cable company and purchased my own eero extenders.
ОтветитьI went to my local T-mobile store and walked out with my phone back up but one of these as a two week trail period test. It's a lot cheaper and faster than Spectrum, AT&T and Verizon which is not available where I am in Texas. My total bill for the first month for everything is $70 then goes to $120. Affordable for phone and home internet. When I started it the device kept powering off and on the first few days. Maybe downloading updates? It has been stable and quick recently. Hope they don't raise the price unless they give better service.
ОтветитьThe first three months of Tmobile Home Internet service I was getting 800 Mbps download speeds.
After that Tmobile started to automatically throttle my speeds and after fourteen months they have
it throttled all the way down to 300 Mbps download speed. This is on the South West side of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Their service was advertised as 1 Gig speed.
Wil not work with chrome cast or alarm system wast of money
Ответитьbeen debating this for months its been a hard decision cause we arent saving that much 20 compared to your 150. but thats literally a 10x speed increase wtf lol if its the same. but it doesnt matter if its unreliable i didnt know their was a 14 daay trial period i gotta give this a shot
ОтветитьNigel
Great review. Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom. What kind of tv is that and are you happy with it?
Honestly thank you for these kinds of videos, it's a great demo for people with hesitations.
ОтветитьWell done video, nice work. Good review
ОтветитьI get 550+ during congestion and average 780 at night my highest is 940mbps and over 100 for upload kinda crazy!
Ответитьcurious to know if performance stays up for working remotely all day for whole month. if they throttle data after any max capacity, it would not be a great experience working from home. thanks.
ОтветитьOne gateway lasted about a month. There was no fixing it with tech support. I just had to bring it back to the store for a swap out. Bundle with the phone service made it a little cheaper. But watch for gateway failure. The store was more than happy to swap it out so good on that customer service.
ОтветитьThanks for the review! My wife and I have been with T-Mobile cellular for 2+ years. Last week T-Mobile Home Internet became available in our area. I've been a satisfied Comcast/Xfinity subscriber for 38 years. Our 30 devices (including 4 TVs, 8 Wyze cams/plugs, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, 2 Macs, etc.) and a 3,800 square foot house, Xfinity has us at 1gigs speed. Probably overkill, but I am concerned that T-Mobile Home Internet can handle everything as well as Xfinity. I'm considering the 14-day free trial, but not sure it's worth the effort. Comments?
ОтветитьI loved that you talked about using the same wifi name on the new T Mobile system. Very smart and easy way to save a hell of a lot of time !
ОтветитьThanks for the review very helpful
ОтветитьI have Tmobile home internet. It's fantastic. I used to have Xfinity which was also great. The only real difference between the 2 is that Tmobile costs me $70 less per month 😆
ОтветитьJust a quick question because I didn't quite understand in regards to mesh. I have a mesh setup with Mediacom internet at the moment. I'm trashing Mediacom because it has become too expensive for both cable and internet. I currently hava a mesh in the family room, garage, and then out in my golf cave (shed). Will I be able to use mesh with T-Mobile 5G internet?
ОтветитьCompletely unnecessary to pay more than $50 for internet. We game game around the clock for that amount.
ОтветитьI just got a new T-mobile unit last week because the old one stopped working...I have no problem with my internet on my tablet or phone but when I tried to conne t to my Roku device..wont connect!!!..Say Im connected but then says unable to connect..Hours on the phk e with Roku..no help..Mobile customer service says it Roku fault..Roku says T-Mobile..I can't get any help.....
ОтветитьHe must be getting props from T-Mobile I've had T-Mobile for over a year now and the service sucks
ОтветитьWe needed to replace a fried Att dsl router for my dad’s house. The Att dsl was pretty dismal and expensive. What a pain even to replace the router. I just walked into T-Mobile and they handed me the unit and was up 15 minutes once home. If you have decent cell coverage it’s great. Most people not gaming can stream work and play multiple devices on 50 up and down. No brainer don’t like it return it.
ОтветитьYou mentioned data leakage; how secure is the T mobile internet for keeping business or financial records safe from being stolen/hacked?
ОтветитьSubbed checking out your video and thumbs up ❤😊
ОтветитьWay too lengthy. Get to the point.
ОтветитьThe problem is people won't stick together. Cox time Warner are rapeing you with the 🎉permission of state government. They raise the rates because they know with high speed internet that really all we need and there busness is dieing.
ОтветитьAbsolutely love T-Mobile 5g! Been with it over 2 years now! Got the first model and all!
ОтветитьT moblie is a let down it good for a month and than it dies down ping is 400000
ОтветитьWell what do I tell my boyfriend about his $50 WiFi home internet it now acts like a iPhone hotspot where you have 100mbps to use than your network starts the throttle? Is this supposed to happen? He was also getting messages that his internet will be slower. He just bought it 2 weeks ago and now we can’t watch apps on a smart TV.
ОтветитьCox cable has had a monopoly on the Home internet market where i live forever. I saw that T-Mobile home internet was $50 a month and was wondering if it was fast enough to stream 4k movies and you just answered my question. Thank you so much for this video. Im so excited to kick cox to the curb.
ОтветитьIt just came to my neighborhood so i signed up. I have a phone plane from them so im paying 30 a month nd i guess in 90 days i get a $300 prepaid MasterCard lol couldnt pass that up lol
ОтветитьVery satisfied so far with it. I had verizon 5g home plus to begin with as my local isp only issues around 60bmps down max, where verizon averages around 70-100 down. I live right next to a tower and t mobile has 5g antennas on it and I average around 600-850 with tmobile out in the middle of the country in florida. Very low ping as I play games on it too.
ОтветитьWe currently have Cox internet. Have been considering T-Mobile home internet as it would be half of what we are paying Cox. However, T-Mobile doesn't have port forwarding (it states that on their info site) and that prevents us from accessing our home security camera system that is a wired system even with the app on our phone. There's a cell tower about 120 feet from our property line. I've checked the internet speed on the T-Mobile network through my phone and the speeds are incredible. We cannot seem to get correct advise as to how we could solve this dilemma, whether or not it is actually a problem. Any advice?
ОтветитьI have T-Mobile I love their customer service tried to install home Internet in Florida, but due to the hurricanes, the towers are down and they don’t know when they’re gonna be back up
ОтветитьAn app called Hint Control will allow you to disable the WiFi radios on the gateway.
