ОтветитьI'm binge watching Whew!
I would love to see this game rebooted. Raise the running of the gauntlet to $100,000
Can anyone see this remade with Disney villians?
ОтветитьCBS game show.
ОтветитьI actually think this game show is great and it should be rebooted.
ОтветитьRIP tom
ОтветитьI'm guessing the intro was animated by Hanna Barbara.
ОтветитьFBI AGENT
ОтветитьIf I could resync the Charging/Gauntlet drum cut with my own theme, it would be Lazer Pulse II.
Ответитьmy spine just think about
Ответитьhe need a lawman
Ответитьmy spine just think about
Ответитьfbi agent
ОтветитьGREATGAMESHOW
ОтветитьI bet she still has that washer/dryer
ОтветитьSarah was a cutey.
ОтветитьI auditioned to be a contestant on this show. I nailed the gauntlet, but I guess I wasn't bubbly enough to make the cut. My then very young son loved the animated characters and he waited every morning to watch "Shoe" with me.
Ответитьthis i got to see
Ответитьthis i got to see
Ответитьnever see that coming
Ответитьlawman
Ответитьvery nice
ОтветитьWhy was longshot tore screech heard at 10 seconds left? He called for it when it was 3 seconds left
ОтветитьThe Villains of “Whew!”;
1. Alphonse the Gangster
2. Bruno the Headsman
3. Mr. Van Louse, the Landlord
4. Nero the Fiddler
5. Count Nibbleneck, the Vampire
6. Frank and his little friend Stein
7. Kid Rotten the Gunslinger
8. Jeremy Swash, the Pirate
9. Dr. Deranged, the Mad Scientist
10. Lucretia the Witch
Really creative game by Jay Wolpert, who was one of the developers of The New Price Is Right in 1972, along with Mark Goodson and Frank Wayne. Too bad Whew! only lasted a year.
ОтветитьWasn't there a kids version of this show to some extent in the early 90s? Honestly if this game were to come back it would be perfect for kids.
ОтветитьWhat's this new villains stuff?
ОтветитьGuy bouncing up and down during the charging like he has to pee.
ОтветитьThis episode originally aired the day I started 1st Grade (the day after Labor Day, 1979). My uncles and I had spent a lot of mornings in the summer of ‘79 watching this at my grandmother’s house.
ОтветитьThis is how the bonus round from Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? should have gone! If my memory served me correctly, the order you'd tackle Carmen's mob would have been,
Patty Larceny
Top Grunge
Sarah Nade
Wonder Rat
Double Trouble
Robocrook
Kneemoi
Eartha Brute
Vic the Slick
The Contessa
And yes, Rat, Kneemoi and Nade weren't on the first couple of seasons, but you still get the idea.
They look like Woody Hayes and 9 guys from Ohio State.
ОтветитьThe only question I have is why GSF said there’s new villains?
ОтветитьGREAT AUDIENCE
ОтветитьWhy did they skip episode 92?
ОтветитьWOW!! She got Allen good on the first level!!
ОтветитьSarah, WHY were you NOT watching the clock?!
ОтветитьI will say this the Villains just want attention when they said “Introduce Us Already”. Those Villains look silly on stage. Lol.
ОтветитьI knew the villains had names (from IMDb and such), but it's neat to see the episode that those names were first revealed).
ОтветитьTOUGH bloopers in the Gauntlet of Villains.
ОтветитьVery creative and underrated show! I often wonder if Patti Deutsch helped write the questions. Based on her impromptu answers she comes up with on "Match Game" of the same era... she rules too! 👍
