I haven't laughed and cringed like this ever.
ОтветитьSo good!
ОтветитьDang, that ending was so dark. I was a missionary and found much of their discouragement very relatable. It’s a constant journey of ups and downs, and misunderstanding. The life of a missionary was portrayed accurately. I don’t think I’ll ever rewatch this, just because it’s got such a twisted ending, but good work.
ОтветитьGood take on religion.
Ответитьit was phenomenal seeing this on the big screen 🍿 i look forward to where this creative team will go!
ОтветитьThis was really really great, Chris!
ОтветитьOh Chris, if only Alan from Super Shuttle could see you now. lol.
Dude this was good. I got excited when my daughter told me about a video (Naptime!) that I should watch and it turned out to be one of yours. So happy to see your successes. You’re going to do great things bro.
I don't get the ending? What was she doing in the window? Who's blood was on the wooden stick? I don't get it
ОтветитьI have to really feel for the trainer so heavily trying to bring faith to others and it just repeatedly not working out. I also have to feel for the abused and lonely and suppose humanity is just complicated like that. Great work you never cease to amaze.
Ответить^^
ОтветитьKeep up the good work!
Ответить@peterboardman1 The first several minutes you could hear the man abusing the woman yelling and cursing and knocking around
The trainee even was looking around like what the heck is going on up there but the trainer had music on to cover up and also desensitized cope
After watching the end and seeing the beginning again it was super obvious and much more powerful when you know what's coming
My god. I’ve got chills. This is magnificent.
ОтветитьI'm sorry but
I still know you as naptime guy-
Really well done. Great work as always Chris!
Ответитьso incredible. Watched all the way to the end!!
ОтветитьI loved my mission. I had many similar experiences portrayed in this film. Nothing anywhere near as dark, but it was still woefully relatable at times. Whoever did the writing for the missionary behaviorisms did their homework because most of it was spot on. Great work! I served in the states and it was hard at times feeling like you had any success, but you learned to love the people and found joy in serving them and being, at the very least, someone they could rely on giving them a smile. I certainly had many experiences interacting with some of the strangest people you could ever come across, but they need love and care just as much as anyone else. I know this short is geared towards painting missionary service in a bad light, but even still, relatable as it was, I still loved my mission and I'm thankful for the experience it gave me.
ОтветитьServed in Suburban Chicago. Best representation of missionaries I've ever seen.
ОтветитьWTG Chris and Rich!!! Can't believe I am just watching this. It was funny and dark...just like the 2 of you <3
ОтветитьI didn’t understand the ending
ОтветитьWow! Incredible work.
ОтветитьI never understood why Christian cults feel the need to convert people to their cult. I'm a pagan and feel no need to try and convert people live and let live however Christians always feel the need to convert its very weird.
ОтветитьYeah definitely not my cup of tea lol Mormons hate Gays and don't really do anything other then irritate everyone
ОтветитьPathetic calumny. Hopefully the filmmakers will move on to other subject matter. When they look back on their lives years from now they will be glad to have something less judgmental and bitter to show for their time in life.
