THE OUTER WORLDS: DLC Officially Announced!

I think your writing off the second gas giant we could take a Warframe approach and have a noir like dlc in a massive gas city built above the planet, or we could have something like the Tangled shore from destiny 2 where we explore the ring of the planet jumping between asteroids. There's a tone of potential with these two things I'm imagining a massive gas city in the classy art style with the corporations trying to rebuild or a new resistance forming based on our choices. If they let us visit the ring we could get secret hidden labs or resistance bases massive compounds made from tethered space rock, or mining vessels gathering materials from the ring. There's a lot they could do there more than the other plants to because of the multitudes of locations

Is a game we need now....

When I saw that there were named planets you couldn't go to it seemed to me that they were there for dlc. I mean why name it if it wasn't going to be used. If fact why would you even have a planet on the map. Couple things I'd like to see are push the levels. You can only get a few perks you can , but it feels like you should get more. Will extra missions be during the game or post game? I'd like to see dlc that Mass Effect it had some of the best dlc ever. However I think it may to ambitious for Outer Planets since ME had three games to build on. One amazing dlc was adding characters. They had their own missions sure but Bioware had to go back and include them in the game where they hadn't before. These extra missions had meat on them. You had the ancient reaper, the Shepard doppleganger and the information broker to name a few. REMAKE the ME Trilogy already.

You know what I think? I think 1 of three things could happen... first thing is that we get to play the game after we finish it’s story (like we could in Fallout 2, 3, and 4) and actually SEE the ramifications of our actions. Second thing is we go on a Skip-Jump to Earth to re-establish contact and figure out what the LAW happened. Third and final thing is they make a Fallout DLC or two that a) brings F:NV into a modern engine, fixing the bugs the original game had, or b) expands the story for Fallout 5 if and when that comes out.

Watch them extend the game by 20 plus hours. Fuckin excited!

Sales will be dropping for a sequel. The lack of PS5 sales will hurt this franchise.

Hypothesis time travel skip jump or "skipjack" would be awesome

As much as I love this game, one of the only negative things I can say about it is that the endgame is fucking terrible! And the grind to 30 is mind numbing once you've completed every quest, the game lacks any repeatable missions or quests like bounties or defense etc. Once a questline is done, it is said and done for all eternity, and you have nothing left to do but the final questline :/

I really hope the dlc let's you play after you beat the game cause Idk why but obsidian always makes their games and you beat and you can't play them anymore on that character anymore lol.

I hope with next year they just meant, 2020 and not a whole year later.

I'm hoping we get to see the colony all awakened from hypersleep and maybe the hope and the colony ship become like a hub or city in the game. There's a lot the devs have to work with in terms of direction

I'm sure Typhon and Hephaestus are prime targets for DLC. They could always add more satellites and spaceships and even other colonies

They should really make more dlc this game is actually good

I swear I will directly watch the end of this dlc, the outer words for me is a passionate game, but the lack of epilogue and continuation as being able to enjoy being a pirate vice president having to start from scratch, discourages me, I love this game at all my heart, but the scenario does not change after the events and the lack of a pos game and brooding

There are a lot of "closed" places in Byzantium. The perfect way would be creating a DLC with new destinations or even a new planet with new objects in already existing locations

What I want to see in future DLC?
More weapon and armor varieties.
More weapon and armor mods.
Possible affiliation with new (but currently existing) factions, like Rizzo's and Aramid Ballistics.
Increase level cap.
Minor tweaking to some skills, eg: Dodge force should increase all damage types which would be great for my Shotgun Surgeon build.
Access to new planets and areas.
Possibly a new companion or two.

Can we get some romance options please what’s a RPG without a little romance

My favorite dlc of Fallout New Vegas was the Lonesome road... hoping whatever they do add will be grittier and show the darker side of Halcyon. I'll love whatever they give us. Im only one trophy away from Platinum.

Imagine they add explosives in dlc

They could release dlc for this game 30 years from now and i would still buy it and that's crazy to say because i'm not the biggest fan of the fallout type of gameplay but obsidian did an amazing job with this one.

Fallout meets Borderlands 3

All the planets can be used. You have atmosphere stations to collect energy. The other gas giant can have a space station too. Make that one huge like in Alien Isolation. The frozen planet can have an underground military base and underground networks. Think Hoth in Empire Strikes back and the hot one can also be underground on if it's tidal locked, the other side of the planet that is cool.. Don't sell yourself short.

Fantastic game with really interesting world and characters. Definitely will buy any DLC they're offering.

I love the way they came about the DLC, based mostly off how the fans would react to it. And I personally love it, I would love some more content from this game!

Awesome game, loved every second of it when I was playing it but it broke my heart that there was no fucking NG+ or anyway to keep playing to get any side quests that may have been missed. I understand the story is closed no matter what ending you get but still. Its been collecting dust for months and I really hope the DLC comes soon.

Ah... remember the good ol'days before (insert virus name here) f***ed everything up... good times, good times...

I will never get over the fact that I have to say goodbye to my character at the end of the story. Fallout 3 became so much more after they released DLCs that prolonged the story and left it playable.

I hope this game will get DLC and mod support soon, I can't imagine how awesome it will be to wear the armor of Boba Fett and blast around with EE-3 in new planet.

Honestly I’d love to purchase a dlc for outer worlds, i had a great time playing the game and was a little sad when I finished it.

Im already imagining a Sierra Madre-like space mega casio DLC.

Make it open world. Only thing that i dislike.

If you talked to a guy in Amber, I believe his name is Ash. If you buy him drinks he talks bout his different experiences on Terra 1 (Monarch) & Olympus with hearing knocking sounds in a mountain sides claiming to be something "alien". I believe this new DLC will unlock all the planets & find out what happen to Earth.

Be cool for them to add a few alien races to play as.

The universe Obsidian built is so ripe for interesting stories to tell. I really can't wait to hear more about this DLC :)
