Man, after all that I can imagine the next chapter starting with Barney emerging from the teleport and passing out for the next five hours.

All I can say is Barney Calhoun is one tough hombre... HEV? We don nee no es-steenkin' HEV.

Focal Point was pretty challenging for me during my first time through, but it's just so well made. I can't stay mad at it. Future playthroughs will be better, though; that's for sure.

Alright, been 3 days later, since this video was released, HOW THE HAIL do I get this off steam ??...Operation Black Mesa - didn't work.......Black Mesa - Blue Shift - that didn't work either....so how do I get this ??

I loved Focal Point. The cutscenes were epic, especially when Barney hold on to the falling Manta Ray. Some people have been complaining about the chapter length and unnecessary puzzles, but compared to original how underwhelming and rushed Xen felt I think the remake did justice to it.

I'll wait until it's complete, I've already played it and it's great. The original Blue Shift had an hour of gameplay. This new Blue Shift is already 4 hours long which is absolutely fascinating that they extended it that much. Now only the Opposing Force is missing..

Just finished it, incredible level and environmental scale. Game design is something you dont even see in AAA games. The liberal use of Manta Rays was a real treat too!

I lower the music on HL mods. They're just too loud and don't usually go with the game.

This remake elevates Barney to a new level, not to the semi god one of Gordon Freeman, but after focal point i can now fully see why he is one of the resistance leaders, focal point is a work of art

Just finished my playthrough. Christ that portal at the end doesn't last long enough. My framerate takes a bit of a hammering there too, which makes aiming harder.

I just finished Focal Point, I like it but it kinda drags and feels like Calhoun has to do an insane amount of things and travel crazy distance just to get that teleporter up. Should of been around the length of the Xen chapter in Black Mesa. It looks great and I like a lot in it but I think it can be trimed down a bit.

okay i have an issue, i updated the game, but focal point is nowhere to be found, after i contiue and jump in the portal, it shows me to be continued, what do i do?
