Cartoons. Look at the top of the card. The diamond with the number in it. That's how much it cost and that value increases as it gets farther away from the heart and you can't afford the nursery because it cost 50

I wouldn't make a liner path to your heart I would make multiple paths that would result in a dead end so they would have to double back into a room so they have to go through twice making there duration of heading to the heart last longer

Lol, I saw like a minute of this and instantly downloaded and played the demo for like an hour, so now I'm finishing watching it and critiquing everything Toonz is doing wrong. Like how he doesn't realize that they move every turn to a different room, and it doesn't matter how windy the room is, so bigger is often not better.

There was a game called "Dungeon Keeper", I used to play a lot, which had basically the same premise, but without the whole cards and stuff. (Apparently there was a Dungeon Keeper 2 too LOL)
Long story short, it was fun, since you could play the villain and build a dungeon for the 'hero' to suffer in!!
Maybe Toonz sees this and gives that game a chance!

I think you need to focus on Essence cost when you place rooms. You had 20 Essence when you were trying to make a second nursery, which costs 50 Essence. Do we see where the math wasn't mathing?
