Looking forward to this. As a Chinese Medicine student, I know mugwort when burned as moxa is so penetrating and is so dehydrating but we use it to treat our definition of cold or raising the energy of the Qi and in other ways and combinations...

Thanks for this offering Rosalee. 🙏🏽 I enjoyed this interview with Corinna. I walked with mugwort during my herbal apprenticeship. She is such a beautiful, powerful and magical herbal ally. I learned soooo much about myself from mugwort. 💛🌿

I absolutely love Artemesias.. I grow vulgaris, absinthium and annua. But as far as using mugwort as an oneirogen goes I’ve found it doesn’t always work. But it when it does work, I often find the entire colour scheme in my dream is made up entirely of different shades of green and silvery grey, just like the colours of the plant.

I ordered some wormwood plants and got a bonus as one of them also had a mugwort growing in the same pot. It didn’t show up until the plant was full size but it is fun to see it growing together with the wormwood. It doesn’t grow wild where I am so I’m thrilled to have it.

Wow just beautiful, this is exactly how I came to be herbalist, plants just called my name. I love connecting with them, talk to them, let them teach me. Cannot stand "scientists" who study plants in the lab. What a joke. I am yet to get to know Mugwort, I finally found where she grows but it was October. I build a bed and planted her in my ever-expending medicinal garden. Can't wait to get to know her. Thank you for another enchanting guest.

I don’t have mugwort, but I have Artemesia Ludoviciana, and I have Artemisia absinthium. So similar. Do you think that either of those would make good vinegar?

I love mugwort, and Rosalee, when you had doubts about the flavor of mugwort vinegar at first, I wanted to say that it's delicious and not only that, but I eat breakfast a lot outside where mugwort and other herbs grow, and I often pick little bits of them to put in my breakfast bowl. The mugwort is so delicious (a little sage-like) with food, I looked up to see if there were recipes using it. I found a lot of Asian recipes for mugwort soup, chicken with mugwort, mugwort panna cotta.... it's delicious!

What are your thoughts about adding mugwort to one’s property if it’s not already there, since it is so invasive?

Rosalee, what a Wonderful interview, I learned so many things to do with my Mugwort! I can relate to what you were saying about growing up in Utah! I mostly lived in Southern Nevada growing up, and I think they could have done a better job of teaching the beauty of the desert and what it had to offer! I lived in the city with all the modern conveniences, and now that I'm older I live in a rustic cabin with giant hardwood trees and fields of wild herbs and more pronounced seasons,! And a much loved and used wood stove. Thank you so much, sending the love 🌿🌙💚
