🚩 The Second Turkish Siege of Vienna in 1683 was followed by a Habsburg offensive, during which Prince Eugene of Savoy became its foremost luminary. The siege of Buda in 1686 was fought between the Holy League and the Ottoman Empire, ending almost 150 years of Turkish rule. Although Eugene played a minor role in the siege, it was during these early encounters of the Long Turkish War that he made a name for himself and rose through the ranks.

By the middle of June 1686 the siege had begun. On July 27 the Holy League's army started a large-scale attack, which was repulsed with a loss of 5,000 men. A tercio of 300 Spanish troops spearheaded the assault of the city walls.
Today, a monument in Budapest marks the spot where Spanish troops breached the walls to re-take the city from the Ottomans.

Were the spaniards the first who climbed the walls.... WHY YOU ANGLOSAXONS DONT MENTION THAT , MORRONS¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

So... Eugene served the Duke of Lorraine, as did James FitzJames, the Duke of Berwick, whose name was Churchill (his mother's name) or Stuart (his father's name). The Duke went on to serve Louis XIV.

prince eugene...
While the Ottoman army was in the process of crossing the Tisa River over the makeshift wooden bridge it had built itself, and only half of the soldiers had crossed to the other shore and the army was divided into two and could not get a war order, it could be considered a very good idea for him to think of gaining victory by making a sudden raid. But this is not a battle that no one can think of or carry out. It does not follow from this battle that Prince Eugene was a great commander. I have no information about any other battles.

Prinz Eugen. A legendary commander, one I didn't know enough about.
I know a lot about the WW2 heavy cruiser named after him - a legendary lucky ship with an amazing reputation.
A fitting name for an awesome ship as she overcame the odds just like her namesake.

There are so many errors and biased statements that I would suggest removing the word history from your channel's name.

Pince Eugene's baptism of fire was at the Battle of Vienna in 1683.

In 1683 the Ottoman Empire had passed its zenith and was already in decay. The Ottoman economy / budget was based on expansion. But after 1566, the Ottoman Empire couldn't gain many valuable areas. And without French money, they hadn't been able to finance the second siege of Vienna.

"To relive the city from the Ottoman yoke", despite the fact that you should not use any judgmental remarks in history, at least in an Ottoman city you could practise any religious faith you wish. In the Habsburgian city, you have the free choice of being a Catholic or have a talk with the Inquisition. 🙄

This siege is copy of Siege of Vienna 3 years earlier:

Siege of Vienna(1683):
Ottoman Army: 120.000
Defenders: 16.000
Result: City is almost captured after bloody 60 days of siege. Relief army saved the city.

Siege of Buda (1686)
Crusader Army: 100.000
Defenders: 13.000
Result: City is captured after 82 days of siege. Weak relief army was defeated during the siege.
