F-16 Combat Missions in Ukraine Are a Major Success!

We need at least 2 squadrons of F-16's in Ukraine to be able to clear its skies and test it's effectivity in countering hypersonic missiles with its Aim-120 in an actual and not a controlled combat environment. We can also use pilots on a rotational basis to be able to train and familiarize more before the rest of the F-16 batch arrives. Data gathered can then be used and applied with the rest of the NATO fighter jets. 🙂

I wonder who is going to win the war in the Ukraine and achieve the goal of keeping their agricultural land? Would that be the US through having giving them all this military and financial aid that the Ukrainians will not be able to pay back (and therefore having to pay back with workable land) or Russia through traditional war methods. It is all to be seen! but one of the two will get the land for sure!

I am a bit irritated when commentators are painting the Mig 29 and Su 27 as "ancient, out dated, or old " vs the F-16, when in fact, the designs are more modern than the f-16 (BTW the f-16s are also within the Soviet era). The Migs, Su, and F-16s have all been around for almost 40-45 years and ALL have been upgraded several times. However, I am sure the Russians are also referring to the falcons as old/out dated/irrelevant

Can you imagine the Russians trying to fight the American Military? They would get destroyed in spectacular fashion, the advantage America has in the air and in the sea is so great, I wouid not be surprised if massive amounts of Russian troops just surrendered, bc it would be hopeless for them, with the US military owning the skies, meaning day after day the Russians wouid be attacked from the air ruthlessly

A key effectiveness of the F-16s may also be psychological - boosting the morale of Ukrainian forces and lessening that of Russia.

I've been playing falcon f16 for a while, I might take a chance.

So much so that there were 5 pilots that can fly them, now there are 3 and one, possibly two F16's were, lost already. But other than that, yes, they are a major success.

No mentioning that the F-16 supplied to UA were sent with no Link-16, so these aircraft as good as WWII aircraft being excluded from digital battlefield and targeting.

There is a error in the video. Ukraine has more F-16's.
The Netherlands already delivered 24 F-16 and where delivered 8 days ago.
And 5 out of 12 more F16's are delivered in Roemania at the EFTC to train roemanian and Ukrainian Pilots.

It makes sense to use the F-16s as interceptors since Ukraine have so few of them. They might use them as support aircraft for the migs since they are more familiar with the migs.
