That bit on legally protected terms for professionals is spot on. A dietitian is a professional registered with the HCPC but a "nutriotionist" may be talking sense but could peddle whatever potentially harmful food that gives them any sort of gain or profit. "Toothiologist" hahaha

He had no insurance, and the least expensive dentist we could find wanted to charge him $300 for the extraction only, but he also wanted to do x-rays first, and charge for the office visit on top of that. We didn't have $300, much less the rest of it, and they wouldn't work with us. What we did have was a pair of pliers, a boiling pot of water, then a good douse with rubbing alcohol for those pliers, and a shot of vodka. One of his friends called him crazy, so he asked the guy "What else was I supposed to do? Let it stay in there and rot?"

Didn't know that about 'nutritionist' v 'dietician'. Probably because you see them on talk shows and the host never says, 'So you're a nutritionist. What exactly are your qualifications in that respect?'

I know that science doesn’t know everything and just because it can’t explain some things doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. It doesn’t really matter if science can explain it, if something works, for whatever unknown, invisible reason, it still works. ie chiropractic - I experience Chiropractic since 1976 and I know it works so you can laugh all you want about such things, it doesn’t nullify it. Even if it’s all in a person’s mind…health is good, however you attain it.

The problem with the "herbalism" that became "medicine" is that "science" started to concentrate on the "active ingredients" and stopped asking what purpose the rest of the herb served. Then like complete idiots, they started creating their own "patentable" molecules and testing them to see what they might be good for. I'm glad this guy is SUPPOSED to be laughed at.

My dad actually tried to ignore having a blackout. Luckily we told our mother and it turned out he has a strange heart disease and had to get surgery immediatly. So yeah unfortunately people do ignore obvious signs like that.
