how to take a long screenshot with miui | Tech Mash

When capturing web pages, your captures are typically limited to what is viewable on the screen. A New MIUI 8 Long Screenshot feature allows you to capture an entire page.This feature useful for education, support, presentations, etc. And previous MIUI 7 Rom not have this feature.We will show you how to use a New MIUI 8 Long Screenshot feature to capture a whole page(from the top part to the bottom part).





Step 1
Open the content you wish to take a scrolling screenshot of.
There are 3 ways to take screenshot on your MIUI 8
Scroll down notificition bar-Click screenshot toggle icon.
Long press the volume down (-) and power keys at the same time.
Touch assistant-Click screenshot icon.

Step 2
Right after doing the long press process, an animation on the screen will be seen. Animation will disapear after 5 sec's. So please click screenshot animation(Top right) in between 5 sec's meanwhile.

Step 3
Then press 'Extend' option.


Step 4
Scroll up the content page and click 'Done'.







Step 5
The captured image will then be automatically saved in the Gallery under Screenshots folder.
