The Supreme Court long ago forfeited its right to be regarded as a legitimate institution of government. The six in the majority committed perjury during their confirmation hearings when they expressed fidelity to the rule of law and stare decisis. They all also asserted under oath that "no man above the law, not even the president." Those statements were perjurious. That makes them unindicted felons. They are also the most unethical group of judges I've ever seen in my life.

"Democrats looking for their own Joe Rogan" - maybe we're taking that too literally. I really hope so, because we'd think a liberal Joe Rogan is just as useless as the original, it's not a serious solution to their refusal to seriously resist the fascists.

I know I'm hard on Democrats, but the way they let slip we need to stop hysterically overreacting to every little thing Trump is doing, and then act shocked when their "colleagues across the aisle" throw one of them down on their face and handcuff them in their own state after announcing they're here to oust the CA governor and LA mayor -- I have to wonder who's side they're really on.

On student loans and university positive discrimination, since both leans towards bottom 20% SCOTUS chose to lean to top 20%. The poorest far too deprived on both counts to prosper without positive help.

Roe vs Wade, reduced a right into a privilege at the mercy of local states, that was a middle course, they could have banned it totally but chose the middle path.

Immunity ruling was also a middle ruling 1st Absolute Immunity as Pardons The 3rd Clearly Unofficial.

The 2nd Presumptive Immunity falls under the law of Presumptions, that it is presumed to fall under total immunity, but can be rebutted by evidence to the contrary .

Presumptive Immunity seeming a catch all principle, is therefore a burden of proof question the burden of proof on the shoulders of the party challenging the validity of the claim for immunity.

So if the right is irrational, illegal, barbaric, corrupt or depicts procedural impropriety., probably can all be challenged under Presumptive Immunuty.

As such one of the most crafty clever and well thought out SCOTUS verdicts.

Just Learned there is an E.O. at the Department of Energy entitled DEIA. This order signed on May 16, 2025 closes for negative public comment today June 16, 2025 and allows the Department of Energy to no longer have to build or open spaces that are accessible. This is against 504 statutes and will negatively impact senior citizens as they and our population ages, veteretns, and anyone needing accessibility. If this is not brought to light it can spread under the radar and impact schools, hospitals and eventually all federal buildings in direct oppostion to 504 and ADA requirements. Please bring attention to this, as soon as I have the EO link in hand will share it.

If having your case taken by SCOTUS is such a rarity, how is it that they seem to take every case that Trump loses in the lower court? and How does SCOTUS justify these actions?

I have run into people who feel that they deserve a job over an-nonwhite simply because they were born here. Their education does not matter because they feel that America and all states have the best education in the world. Of course, this is not true, but they believe that they are right without question.

Excellent episode! I’ve recently learned about Leah from Wajahit Ali and I’m a fan. I’ve been interested in SCOTUS lately because I blame so much on them. Just when I thought I couldn’t think less of them, hearing this about curating the cases they want makes me sick. When we get past all of this, major SCOTUS reform is needed. Why does the lowliest McDonald’s employee have a job review but. SCOTUS judge doesn’t? It’s absurd!

Marc, Donald Trump has committed precisely the same crimes as Saddam Hussein. We have won cases in lower courts, but the Supreme Court will likely rule in Trump's favor. Other countries must bring charges against Trump and his administration. Trump should then have charges brought against him by the International Criminal Court. He is openly supporting a dictatorship under Putin. He sent missiles to Israel so they could bomb Iran. He is a hair away from sending American troops to get into a fight we have no business being involved in. He is a threat to the entire world. He is literally starting WWIII and will succeed if other countries do not stop this. Americans are helpless at this time. The USA has become a third-world country that needs other countries to step in and save us.

I think they made the wrong decision to rolll back women’s rights that were decided when I was 17 yrs old & now I’m 70 & they repealed our rights. They lost a lot of respect that day from women!

I felt like we went backwards when Roe v Wade was overturned. Yes, they should reflect what’s going on in politics, but I don’t think the SC should ever go backwards in development of the laws & practice of our land. I guess if it’s important, then the SC Should make it an Ammendment to the major principles. Our right to choose should have been made an Ammendment .
