Jim Nailon, creator of the Liturgical Guitarist Hymnal (LGH), gives introductory remarks on a planned series of free online lessons based on his hymn arrangements. He tells how to access his free arrangement for Immaculate Mary, and then gives a short lesson on the piece, which is the easiest arrangement in the LGH.

Jim's mission statement for the LGH project is "to enhance the practice and status of the guitar as an instrument of liturgical worship by providing accessible and musical arrangements of hymns suitable for use as preludes, postludes and musical interludes."

The LGH consists of over 80 intermediate-level hymn arrangements for solo guitar in both notation and tablature. They are freely accessible through Jim's website, www.liturgicalguitarist.com.
