Because there is no cross referencing. If someone gets cleared to sponsor a child and passes a background check, they should be flagged as having done that, so if their name comes up again to sponsor another/more children then a red suspicion flag will come up, then we can try to track down the location of that person or sting them so we can not on!y stop them from getting another child, but hopefully find the one that they already have...save the child and arrest the predators. This is not rocket science.

These administration officials are EVIL! They do not care about the safety of unaccompanied minors or the safety of the communities that they send them to! DHS, HHS, ORR have lost over 325,000 UACs. Old figures - last year. Others now estimate 400k-500k minors have been lost. NO VETTING has been done before handing over minors to anyone who will take them. And Catholic Charities, which has received hundreds of millions per contract for caring for children, has not vetted any of these "sponsors" either. ALL UACS must be handed over promptly to their countries' consular authorities for immediate repatriation + reunification with relatives - at their expense, not ours. Get these countries to stop trafficking at their end.
