i tried rice, dryer and sunlight...there is no sign of charging, for both p 9 lite and p 10 lite. help me?

Hi. My phone (p10 plus) submerged in sea water for at least 30 mins. The screen turns black when I discovered it. I left it in uncooked rice for 24 hours and blow dry it after. It shows that it is charging and i heard that my alarms rings but the screen is still black. Would you know what seems to be the problem?

My girlfriend's P10 lite took a 2 second long bath in the toilet. 😂😂
Kept it in rice for 2 days (for nothing as your other reply says).
The phone is fully functional BUT both cameras now have condensation between the lens and the case.
Do I still have to go to the service center?
Can I do something at home to remove that moisture?

My Huawei P10 lite got wet, I dried it and everything works except the fingerprint sensor, even the option in settings disappeared. Can this be fixed?

hi guys me I'm using P10 not lite ya double camera at the back so it fallen in the pool then we take it to the service they told me that they tried nd failed to fixed it so my phone is still off it doesn't switch on guys is that a sign for my phone that is dead ? is there anything I can do ??

Hi, very helpful video. My p10 lite felt in the toilet and I leave for one night drying. But then is suddenly turn on by it self,it seem to work fine, even the finger prints censor. but then it when off by it self too. What would be the reason should i take it to the repair shop?

i did all of that in the video and still nothing, what could be damage by the water to cause it not to charge

hello: i guess the p10 selfie could have same problems? or maybe not, this is what it happen phone inside my backpack with 2 boxes of almod milk and it felt from my bike and the milk boxes xploded and since i guess my phone was on the other pocket i letf it for 45 minutos till i got home y realize that the part was cover by the milk was 2 inches aprox. on the side of the camneras the phone when off did not try to turn it on left it for a week then the lenses did not have drops of water but then a friend suggest i should heated with the blow drier and it appear the little drop now i left it again on rice. something i forot to mention is that after 3-4 days i remember i need to take out the sim card and sd card and when i did came out with milk not much but wet. :( i dont know what to do what would you suggest, do you have any xperience on the Selfie ?? thank you in advance for your answer

Hey I need some help, some time ago I broke my P10 Lite s screen, not much, just a little crack and i am not sure it goes beyond the protection glass on my phone (the original one, never changed it, the one you get on the pack, I suppose)

Aaand, today I took a shower with my phone near and got quite wet and I believe some of the steam and water got inside that crack. its located down-left, heading up to almost centre.
Now the problem is everytime im trying to open it by using the power button, it opens but stays like that for about 2 seconds and then blackscreen.
Put it in rice, let it dry, even tried sucking off the water =)))
But its still like that
And im very concerned, as I need this phone a whole damn lot, you cant even imagine.
Anything I can do?
And also, whenever I press harder on the screen it instantly goes into blackscreen again, with me being able to reopen it by using power button but it always does the same.
Help.

My girlfriends phone dropped in water for a few minutes and the lcd backlight is not working, it worked for a little while and now stopped working at all, how should I fix it? In the guarantee they said they have to change the motherboard but the phone is working and you can see the screen if you use a flashlight.

Hey CrocFIX, sorry to bother you on an old video like this, but I'd like to ask, I own a P10 (VTR-L09) and I managed to get a lot of water inside it (slipped into a bucket of water, thank god it was clean), I panicked and it bathed for about 15 seconds, my question is that if I disassemble it and clean out the water, will I encounter any glued-together parts, or I will be able to reassemble it again without any problems?

Hope you can help me, I'm in some deep shit cuz' I'm out of money and the warranty is over. Thanks in advance

Guys my phone dropped into the toilet now and before it was OK but now I can't sign into my own phone!!!!! I put it in rice now... Will it get better???!!

so yesterday i dropped my phone in the bath tub about a quarter and after less than a second i grabbed it and dried it in a towel i checked if the mic or speaker we re stuffed but they worked perfectly and the i plugged it in less than a second to check if it still charges and it worked pertfectly but after 10 minsmy screen suddently got stuck in smart cover mode and then it started switching between the lock screen and the smart cover screen and then the vibration motors started vibrating without stopping and then after aproximately 20 to 25 mins after i dropped it i shut it down and put it in rice and im going to let it sit for about 48 hours. is there any chances of it burning the components and never turning on after the 48 hours sitting in rice? Should i consider buying a new phone?

Hey so my phone fell in the toilet.
after that i let it dry in rice. After a couple of hours i started the phone it worked and i could see the huawei logo but after that it only showed me black screen with a clock on it. I could do a hardreset and i did it. Then after hardreset it showed me again a blackscreen with clock on it. Thats why i opened it and try to clean it inside. I did that. After the cleaning it only shows me blackscreen. I replaced my touchscreen with another one but the problem stays the same it only shows me blackscreen.

Can you do this with no teardown

I tried, but now screen touch not working took it to 3 places they said mainboard must be replaced, but they got no stock , any ideas what else I can do, thanks
