Amazing work I give u that , what u making is a sinew back bow, copying a native american bow , but to be right and call it a native American bow you the bowyer has to be native American I know I'm a bowyer and also native American as full as we come ,so unless ur native which ur not ,do not insult native americans by calling it that call it what it is a" copy "

I just watched sinew backed native bow build pt 1 and 2. Tell me about soaking the stave in water and then burying it in ash. I've never seen that technique before and I'm interested in that method. Also the way you put the bends in was great. I'm impressed with the jig and method you used. Is that Osage you were using? If not, what was it and what state are you in in that video? Thank you for the post and I hope to hear from you.
