Che bellezza il tuo orto e uno spettacolo da vedere . Sei un grande 👍🏻
ОтветитьLooking like quite the silver fox with that beard! Thanks so much for the inspiration as I look out over the blanket of 3ft. snow here in Upstate New York. It’s getting me motivated to get my seeds in order and start planning for the spring when I can actually see the ground again.
ОтветитьBrilliant video! Very inspirational. I'll have to experiment here in Norway. - 10 here!
ОтветитьCompletely off-topic (great video!) - but I'm liking the beardy look. Very stylish.
ОтветитьNice veggies Charles.
ОтветитьI wonder how your little salad leaves are doing during in this very cold spell in europe now?
Ответитьif icecream would grow in winter, we could harvest tons!
ОтветитьI'm very happy every time whenever watching your videos because I'm get idea for mygaden in Thailand.
Ответитьthanks for the turkish subtitles
ОтветитьIn Michigan with 12 inches of snow , not sure this will work for us, but LOVE watching and learning . Thank you so much 😊🙏
ОтветитьWhat an amazing harvest at New Year! Your garden looks great even in winter. I'm watching this on February 13th 2021 and we have blizzard conditions in Northern Ireland. I don't have a greenhouse or polytunnel so whilst everyone else is sowing like mad I've been doing nothing and now I'm so glad I've held my nerve. I'll begin my Spring sowing about beginning of March on my window sills and take my time putting things out. Thank you for sharing your lovely garden with us. God bless.v
Ответитьnot my climate type,I am colder
ОтветитьI wanted to ask you about Nasturtiums attracting aphids.
I also wondered if for aphids, white flies, spider mites and thrips if you have tried French merigolds, sage, basel, dill, parsley, garlic, onions or chrysanthemums instead.
If so what was the out come or satification?
your videos, your voice and your plants so soothing, i am starting a garden.
ОтветитьVerry good.... Rât cam on ban đa chia se
ОтветитьHow nice must it be to have acces to so many greens like that in the winter. All these colours are missing from this long and very cold canadien winter we have here. We eat heavy food, but this looks so refreshing.
I started studying agro-ecology last september. Our classes are for the most part on the computer. Hard to learn on how to care for soil and plants like that, but we make it work. Now, in the middle of winter, it is very alienating to study agriculture, when everything is frozen and we need to stay inside. But for real, seeing you and your garden always reminde me why I am doing what I am doing and what good it brings me.
So for all of that, thank you.
Большое спасибо за русские субтитры ! :)
У меня зимой, в теплице, растёт лук-порей, сельдерей, петрушка.
Charles, towards the beginning of this video, you indicated a bed with mustard for 'green manure'. The convention is to dig this in, so in a no-dig situation, how does this work?
ОтветитьI am so happy to say that my collard green plants are just as tall as yours--they've been going since last March! I learned from you to pick large bottom leaves to allow the plant to continue producing. The snow & ice melt right off--you are right--sweetest greens we have ever tasted. Thanks for all your gems. Hope you and son are still doing well! PS When I discovered you in March 2020, you had 273K subs--look at you now:)
ОтветитьLove the beard
ОтветитьHi so is it possible to live off a farm of 1.000 m2 ? thanks a lot.
ОтветитьMe encanta ...todo lo que hase ...en sus huertos
ОтветитьThankyou for the many tips, especially about 3 to 4 seedlings together - I am not new to gardening but never thought about that! I live on the East Coast of South Africa which has a very different climate from UK but gardening basics are the same. Thankyou for the very informative videos and weaning us away from the shops.
ОтветитьBeautiful Winter Greens🥬 Thank you for sharing.
Ответитьi have problems getting down on hands and knees to harvest during cold weather, but this year i have build some higher beds, and am looking forward to eating fresh greens in the winter, thanyou so much for all your knowledge and inspiration
ОтветитьHow are you keeping aphids at bay on broccoli and cabbage? They continue to spoil my crops.
ОтветитьBeautiful message at the end, thank you. Another thought occurred to me that I'm curious about and have been through quite a few of your videos. How do You cook the various greens you pick for yourself? It would be quite an insight to learn the flavors you enjoy of some of these that I have never heard about.
ОтветитьThank you for your spirit of joy in your garden in the winter, Warm regards from South New Jersey on a very cold and blustery May 29th, 2021 It's actually Memorial Day Weekend here in the US. God Bless all the men and women who have defended their county!!! God protect us all!!!
ОтветитьThank you so much for all your videos Charles. I've just discovered your work throught de Mid sized garden, as I am beginning some planning for my first own quite little (but quite sunny ) garden near Paris (15 square metres of land) and I find your approach so interesting and very refreshing! I spent my summers in a village, in Greece with a very big garden, but it is the first time I am lucky enough to rent a suburban appartement that features some land, for my "everyday" adult life.
So finding your blog is wonderful!
"Digging" for some months now in litterature regarding permaculture and square gardening, I especially love the multiseeding procedure your are proposing. I hope your method will help me have some veggetables and flowers (edible and for cuttings, to offer) in my small garden and make it a little haven during these complicated times!
I will not expect too much for my first year but since I love being in the garden, I am looking forward to try your method. I am now searching for good compost, I did not know about the maturation stages, very interesting.
May I also add too that your videos are very enjoyable and inspiring. They have a soothing effect and are full of "joie de vivre".

WINTER IS COMING PEOPLE!!!!! ONLY JON SNOW AND NO DIG WILL SAVE YOU!!!!
ОтветитьHello will a darker colored mesh harm the plants in any way?
ОтветитьA few years back I learned a little polytunnel trick for during the frost period. If you light 1 tea light per 1sqm in the tunnel before bed, unless it is a hard frost, they can provide enough heat to stop a frost from killing the crop. I assume it would work for a greenhouse as well. Probably better in a green house since there is no polythene to catch fire if it all goes horribly wrong.
ОтветитьInspiration! Yes indeed.
ОтветитьYes, you inspire many amateur gardeners, including me, but also propagators of the idea of a natural garden, without digging (Katarzyna Bellingham, Jacek Naliwajek). A big thank you to all of you! Maybe we can make this world better ♥ ☼
ОтветитьYou are a wizard! 👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWow - these outstanding green veggies, together with your stored potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, parsnips, garlic, frozen peas, celery, capsicums and canned tomatoes etc etc and a few pantry oils and spices, dried beans some pasta, rice and lentils would see you extremely well fed indeed! What a great feeling and personally empowering. Great video essay, this.
ОтветитьVery pleasant to watch
ОтветитьAwesome to see what you grow and what i might be able to grow in a No Dig garden which used to be shrubs and fliwer garden. I have put all my grass and leaves ground up by lawn mower in late fall plus my grown vegetables in a compost ben. But it has been out in weather all winter long so not sure it will work for this 2022 years compost.
ОтветитьKale looks fantastic🌿 Ooo Brussels Sprouts… great idea.(plant in June)
ОтветитьHow do you keep parsley from not bolting thru the summer?
ОтветитьAt these times so crucial not to hibernate. Your plantings have a very pleasing artistic quality when viewed in perspective.Gratitude and thanks Charles👍🏻
ОтветитьI can’t wait to see the video with Gaz @avantgarde
ОтветитьLoved this video.NW Pa winters are pretty cold. Do you recommend these plants for us to grow threw the winter here?
ОтветитьMy winter gets a little too cold. I'm thinking of investing in some cold frames to grow winter greens. Beautiful veggies. If the cold doesn't get my cold hardy greens the deer usually do.
ОтветитьThanks charles for the reminder that we can still grow certain things in winter. I have a 7x 5 greenhouse which does my tomatoes etc in summer but i never thought of planting salad stuff in the autumn in it for winter. This has gave me ideas of making the most out of what would be an empty greenhouse in winter.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьWhats your plant spacing on the mustard and lettuce for winter growing in the polytunnel? Thanks!!
Ответитьi love the music in this video does anyone know what it is?
Ответить😂
