More and more, I am looking at San Martin pieces, and I definitely will take something from their line.

Why do they keep using this "blocky" and rather unattractive case with such subtle dials?
It is, as is the norm for SM, a lot of money for the movement it contains.

I might not be a design expert but, if the indeces are white with a black border, why use a white date and not add a black frame for consistency? Maybe it is just me who dislikes unframed date windows. Regards Gary

Beautiful dial but the hands are too bold

Bold bezel indeed and too much so. My eyes go to the bezel and strange case choice rather than that outstanding dial. Pass for me . REALLY looking forward to the SN0 144 release and hoping they do a purple version of that dial.

My idea of design is not just throwing in bits and pieces from other watches and saying it’s something “different “.
San Martin make well made homages in the main and also a few truly unique offerings but this is neither.
I probably will watch the full review but might not get to the end.

Bezel is like the sn0131g, which I have and love, I like it. If you talk to SM tell them a Tudor 1926 should be on their horizon.

Great looking case. Not a huge fan of the overly thick bezel or unframed date window, but the rest of the watch looks great.

Indices, bracelet, seconds hand = Rolex
Hours, minutes hands = omega
Case is from a diver minus the bezel

They should have made the bezel fully polished to make it stand out more. Now it looks like a diver where the bezel insert fell off.

Have San Martin abandoned the PT5000? Seems like every watch they make is based on NH3x.

Would love to see them incorporate Miyota 9-series. Or even the 8-series with 60 hours power reserve.

Thankfully 😅 it's not one that's a must have watch for me. I like the dial color & effect but it's basically a diver style watch without a diver bezel. I definitely prefer the 3 hand SN0129 over this one.
It will be interesting to see how I feel about the Gada watch when it is finally released

The case and bracelet should be gold for a full 70s vibe especially with the tropical dial..

I quite like this dial and hands. The rest is okay except that the logo and printing fall short. With a dial this pretty well should get an applied logo and the script for AUTOMATIC is the same generic one we always get from SM. They gotta up that part of their game before I spend $250+
