I've received service like the first scenario from bars. Its odd but its like its accepted in the bar industry, they can treat you like crap and still get tipped( blame it on the alcohol). im a server now and I try to treat my guess the way I would want to be treated...good vid

Why do people always order water ?

How do you guys keep track your tips as a server? I use the free app TIPSEE, and it helps me keep track of my tips every night. I know how much I make now per day, week month and year and its super easy to use.

This is bad services

Bad service is you asking for pepper sauce and getting just gravy instead, then when you tell the waitress to inform the cook that they gave you the wrong thing, she comes back from the chef a few minutes later with more gravy! This happened in a pub in Cork, but I thought I should mention it. It's not as if it's hard to get good pub food in Ireland, Whytes in Stamullen does some really nice food. Also, the burgers we got were like rocks. The thing that annoys me is the people looked at us as if we were shouting our heads off when we just made a polite complaint. My cousin thought it was a bad sign when the cook came out to get a look at us soon after we ordered. That implies lack of skill and confidence.
