ОтветитьEnkosi Nic yet again you are schooling us🙏🏾 this is exciting because that's exactly the market i identified a demand in township decent properties and moving away from the one room with no necessary facilities the market is there, where people want decent apartments but the prices in the suburbs are too high for them, that's where affordability comes in the township with more or less the same facilities. This is my dream hence I'm starting small with a rdp house that's what i can afford renovate it into decent living spaces then rent out the house.

ОтветитьHi Nicolette, thank you so much for the content that you produce for us, much appreciated. Because of that, it would be very nice if you would consider investing in a lapel mic. Using the camera's mic makes it hard to hear you as you are far from the mic. So having a mic close to you would increase the quality of your videos.
ОтветитьThis has been a very inspirational interview with Lebogang. What an inspiring individual. You have to be quite tough to go against the grain. I am a property investor and must say that even in areas with lots of infrastructure it is still hard to get services to your place. It is hard to get the municipalities to come and fix things like piping etc. I can only imagine what systems Lebogang has to build to replace critical systems like power, sewerage and others that would be needed to run these buildings in townships.
Another thing is that its not just the stigma surrounding the township development, its also the risk. Many investors would like to invest in township property but the risk of crime, damage, gang violence etc. is too real when you have money vested in the building and no way of securing it. Calling the police in a vulnerable area is not an option for many - they simply won't come. Calling the municipality if a pothole forms or a tree falls over. Getting accountability for how the money is being spent on public services. It is a huge challenge and that's why what Lebogang is doing is even more impressive.

ОтветитьThe way developments are been established is very wrong because they want to densely populate the area where amenities and infrastructures are already been strained or depleted. We must start them(developments) from scratch by including amenities, colleges, universities and the likes in our town planning.
