Infantryman (11B) - In Depth

My favorite job was 11B. I served with the 82nd and others, but Bragg was my favorite. That's when we were there anyways; he isn't kidding about the training and time away. Great stepping stone into Ranger or SF too. Valuable skillset overall and makes you appreciate the little things that really matter.

I wasn't mechanized, I was a leg. And even though it was strenuous and sucked? I am very proud to say I was a ground pounder.

If you join as 11x is there a chance they put you as an 11C instead of 11B? Is there anything that can be done to avoid it?

Hello my name is Joshua and I'm currently trying to enlist in the national I was originally going for military police due to circumstances my recruiter informs me that I do not qualify for military police dimension because I will need a waiver that will disqualify me from any bonuses as well he told me that I qualify for 11 B and that if I wanted that down the line this would be my best route to sign for a three-year contract finish it and change my MOS

Me and my friend are most likely going to join the army and go for 11b.

Being an 11B was one of my greatest privileges and mistakes of my life (iykyk) and I wouldn't trade a day I spent in the Infantry for anything.

I find it odd that you refer to A bradley as a "tank", then show Russian tanks.

You will enlist as an 11X and if you're good at math, you'll become an 11C. If you go to a "high speed unit," you'll learn everything an 11B does, along with 60, 81 and 120mm Mortars, FDC and the Coreolis Effect.

I loved to wear jungle boots every chance I had, but this new footwear looks amazing how far technology has advanced. Simple as that. The boot on the ground determines the morale of that warriors well being.

Im shipping on January 21st in 09m, i wanna join infantry & go to college while doing infantry but everyone told me to don’t do it cause im not gonna have enough time for college cause my job 11b gonna be so busy and I can’t do college while in infantry and it’s gonna hurt your body so bad yours knees and shoulders gonna be messed up after hearing all this im so confused about joining infantry or not I really like the job this is what i want but when i think about it in long run and what people said about infantry it just makes me giving up and i left so confused about it, please help me out :)

Whats the ocerall average asvab score for infantrymen ive heard its a dummies job but 87 on the asvab combat section seems high could you explain the scoring better i remember 11b being on my list the first time i took the asvab im now preparing to join the national gaurd and dead set on being an infantryman
