Please don’t ever use 40 volume on your scalp again. You are very lucky to not have scalp abrasions and a chemical burn. In cosmetology school we were taught never to put 40 volume on the scalp. It’s meant to be used for foils only! Next time use 30 volume only! I’m a licensed cosmetologist. I am happy to hear you used BlondeMe. It has a bonder built in but next time use 30 volume developer. I never use 40 volume on anyone.

I def just used 40 volume on my roots and am freaking out seeing all the posts online not to, so I wanted see if someone else did to help my little voice inside saying I'm gonna die now 🙃

I left it 40 V developer with charcole 10x lightner, for an hour (not includijg putting it in), on black dyed hair (over dyed brown over pink) amd my hair was banana yellow and felt very good. May not work for anyway but I was so happy because my hair is thick and I thought it would be a disaster.

My scalp burns just watching this please don’t ever use 40 volume !

My hair is just like yours before. I keep creating orange roots lifting my ends and toning turns my yellow ends an ugly dirty blonde with green tinge but how else do I neutral this fkn orange I’m ready to test my luck on 40 volume dev and just go at my roots fuc* these b**** 😂
