Current Job Market Is TERRIBLE (Nobody Is Hiring)

2 rejected in the second round (job is still posted though)

What I hate the most is when companies don’t remove the postings that are already been filled.

Being a no degree having, knuckle dragging electrician, I have to turn down multiple headhunters and recruiters daily. It's beautiful. I do just fine on a straight 40. Um the first girl, honey just because you have an impressive resume doesn't mean people will want you. All that experience, but how did you interviews go??? I really wish I had sympathy for these folks because I will assume a good portion of them had no sympathy for the boys who got laid off from the Keystone XL.

Specially, on indeed jobs putting up bogus listings like they’re hiring, but it’s all BS and security companies are the worst. They are tacky guards. They don’t want true professional security officers.

I thought that was what the Fed Reserve was seeking... a weakened job market to help control inflation (because people buying food or paying rent, etc., is hard on the economy - never mind that that IS the economy).

I was drowning in student debt until I found this guide. Now I have a clear path to freedom.

My advice to anyone who wants to keep a job is to ingratiate yourself to your employer, if even at the expense of your own dignity.

Your opening scenario has been spot on for me. I’ve been looking for nine+ months now and I’ve had a handful of interviews off of 100+ plus applications. I am 60 yrs. Old and firmly believe that for me it’s more about Age Discrimination than qualifications. My opinion 😮. I have had the AI scenario happen a couple of times as well 🤬

A lot of employers won't hire anyone considered 'overqualified'... because the employer is afraid that this individual won't stay. In a little time, they will quit for something better.

You are so wrong! The job market has NEVER been this great. Good grief! I retired at age 59 1/2 and have had many job offers that I didn't even apply for.

This is complete BS. We can't find people with even minimum requirements. They come in with a list of demands like flexible scheduling or can I work from home? What planet are you living on? The left lied to you for decades, your degrees are useless, and your attitude says "i don't want to work here." Here's an idea, go into public education. Any degree qualifies you to "teach", there are no standards as to you actually having to do it, and you can make Tik-Tok videos right from your classroom. Lazy, unqualified, incompetence has been achieved.

IF the immigrants who were vetted and requesting asylum and upstanding persons, were NOT exported by Trump, AND IF the rich and ultra rich were forced to pay fair taxes and not pampered by Trump, AND IF Trump had NOT issued TARRIFS during this time of crisis, many jobs c/would be opened up! At my interview I was encouraged to apply to the full time position after applying to only part time. Went home and applied and my applicationS were rejected 😂

This is good. This means more people will finally have to grow up.

But it’s all sooo funny. Jobs for the longest time(since 1864) had an entire freaking school system behind them.

I’ve been a professional ballroom instructor for over 10 years and let me tell you there is a huge need for instructors especially men in this industry, it’s been so hard for me to even retire! I know several studios looking for male instructors and with no luck. It’s so tough that some owners even have to resort to bringing teachers from overseas. If anyone wants a secure job that AI will never be able to replace, ballroom is definitely one!
