This interests me, and quite frankly is extremely important as to how and what Russia will do in escalating this war. I have watched a number of different Russian economy, inflationary measures and the near total restructuring of the Russian economy into a total war economy. No matter if Russia "wins" this war, economically Russia has lost because of this total war economy. There is definitely no lend-lease in Russia's future this time. 1) There are reports of international barter transactions involving Russia.
2) Gazprom cannot issue a dividend for the immediate past quarter; so no income from sales for the Russian government (50% owner), and also no income from taxes. I figure that portends considerable inflationary pressure on the Ruble.
3) The 1914 Ruble would be worth about $16 US today.

He says he is an economist. Economists never get things right. The U.S. dollar is on the cusp of hyperinflation. Russia is an autarchic economy, that means it has everything it needs inside Russia. It has little need to import things. That means the ruble in Russia will buy what a Russian needs and if everyone is using it both buyers and sellers it still buys the same. It’s only when you have to buy from foreigners that exchange rate activates. Russia has little debt. The USA has 35 trillion dollars of debt. Now you tell me ….without being an economist which currency is most at risk? This muppet is talking nonsense. Things may not be great in Russia but they are going in a good direction….full employment positive growth. The high interest rate is to cool things down and keep things under control. Which means Russia is controlling its economy. This guy is not very bright in my book, more of a wannabe paid shill.

One third of Russia's state buget for 2025 is set to go to the military, the ruble is about to drop below 1 cent and the bank governor has said drastic action will need to be taken in December to slow inflation. Putin has absolutely and completely screwed Russia and is speed running the federations collapse.

This was very interesting, as your videos always are. Is the ruble circulating in Poland? I find it a little strange that the women would have rubles after earning money in Poland. I'd think they would want to be paid in and hold a currency that isn't becoming less valuable by the minute. It also would be interesting to know how they transfer their funds to Russia.

At least in the 1990s in Russia, the West was willing to help Russia recover from hyperinflation, the IMF made a plan to recover Latin American and former Eastern bloc economies, now there is no Western government to help Russia.
