122 degrees. Hottest day here in Phoenix
Ответить122 in Phoenix in the 80’s. Too bad you didn’t get to see any of the suggested sites, etc. I suggested when they were requested in spring. But thanks for the AZ specific MC info!👍😉😃
ОтветитьLove the Medicare rates in AZ but not so much for the heat! We had a couple of really hot days here in the PNW in 2021 which was very unusual because our summer is usually pretty comfortable. It got to 108 in June of 2021. Even the trees got sunburn because they were not used to heat :)
ОтветитьThe hottest temperature I have ever experienced was 110 degrees while in Las Vegas in late June.
ОтветитьIf you get a supplement plan in an issue age state and then later move to an attained age state do you start getting the birthday increase too?
ОтветитьLet’s see, I think 114°F. However the weirdest heatwave I’ve ever been in was in the Transylvania Region of Romania & it was 105°F for two whole weeks… except we had no idea because the temperatures were posted in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit so we had no idea how hot it was. At least these days I know what temps to watch out for in Celsius, too.
PS: I was invited to a family gathering outside of PHX 2 weeks ago… I think it was 120°+. No thanks, see them in AZ in the Winter.
114 when I lived in Tucson, AZ
ОтветитьYeah 122 for me too but when I was in high school I worked the summer in landscaping and it was regularly 115 - 118. That's hot when you're digging trenches out of caliche. We would fill the wheelbarrow full of water & sit in it on break.
ОтветитьI was in Lake Havasu City late June of 1994 when the temperature hit 128 degrees for the state record.
Ответить122 in Scottsdale. Did I mention we were moving into our new home that day??? 😞
Ответить117 Goodyear
ОтветитьAfter almost 60 years in Arizona, I have experienced 120 degrees more than once. Appreciate your explanations about Medicare insurance even if I do have to slow down the video as you are a speedy talker. I understand its because you're trying to provide a lot of information in a short period of time. My Advantage Plan maximum in Pima County is $2800.
Ответить117° in October while living in Phoenix. My parents were visiting and said they'd never visit me again in October and chose Apr-May instead.
Ответить116 here in Tucson, according to our car.
Ответить122 in Phoenix, awful, stayed in AZ but moved up north into the pines, about 22 degrees cooler than Phx all year round.
Ответить124° on a July day in Death Valley. I have a picture of the outdoor thermometer in the rental car to prove it.
ОтветитьI wasn't living in Arizona during the 122 degrees but I've had the opportunity to be here when it was 118 degrees.
I remember listening to the radio when it was that temp. I drove up to just east of Payson and it started raining. The thermometer on my truck said it was 67 degrees so I experienced more than a 50 degree drop in just a little over an hour.
104 in Massachusetts long time ago
Ответитьmy hottest was 122 when we lived in Glendale in the early 1990s
ОтветитьYup, I was here for the 122-degree day back in 1990, when I was still a somewhat young whipper-snapper.
ОтветитьMy plan G in here in AZ is $170
ОтветитьI'm a heat wimp and the highest I've survived is the low 90's in Utah riding my motorcycle on trails with a group of friends. I was suffering heat exhaustion and could barely walk. But here in Alaska I'm dying if it hits 80 degrees. 50's and sunshine is my favorite weather.
But this video about AZ is excellent for me because we are moving down there next year.
I hope I acclimate soon to the high heat but the AC will make it comfortable year round as long as I stay inside. Great information as always!
Slowing the video to 75% makes it easier to watch
Ответить126° in the desert southwest of Arizona. In Yuma, we normally have over 100 days (a year) where the temperature is above 100°F. So 105~115 is common. We wear jackets when it's below 90 😅😅😅😂
Ответить117! 5+ years away from deciding but like your channel for exploring options - subbed!
Ответить117 degrees
Ответить128 in Yuma AZ
ОтветитьMy circumstances: moved to Phoenix area from Connecticut 4 years ago. I’m 73 now.
When I was in Connecticut I turned 65 and enrolled in an AARP/United Health Care Supplemental Plan Option F. This option is no longer available but is to me since I’m grandfathered in.
My monthly premium is $339.92. This goes up every June.
Questions: 1. Are there any discounts that you know of that I can take advantage of and not bother the coverages, which I find are very comprehensive.
2. Do you know of any comparable supplemental insurance equal to what I described above?
My wife is 70 and is also covered by this same plan but only pays $273 monthly.
I just stumbled upon your videos and find them really informative; thanks for them.
Finally, 118 degrees.
I have health insurance through my employer (I'm retired). When I turn 65 and join Medicare, do I still need to have and pay for Part B?
Ответить112F is not totally unbearable. Above 115F is tough to deal with especially if you are in the sun or without water. Last year, we played golf (walking instead of a cart) at 4pm (hottest part of the day) as a challenge. It was 118F when we teed off. Needless to say, we were alone on the course...
Ответить118° in 2020, and we had to move homes during that time. 😢
Ответить117 in Buckeye since we have been here. Thanks for explaining the process here in AZ.
Ответить122 was the highest & sadly I was in Tempe and NOT in California visiting, there were several days in a row of 118-122, it barely got under 100 for the low. 112 is nothing but a typical summer Phx day. Great job explaining Medicare & that comes from me being licensed for 50yrs in AZ.
Ответить120 degrees
Ответить120 a couple of times in Sun City West!
Ответить122 in the Middle East
Ответить122! LOL
Ответить100 the hottest I e been in, so those Arizona temps would have me in a hot mess!
Ответить122 was the highest for me. Actually a few of us dingbats went golfing two days prior and it got up to 118 that day. But, at the time we were young and stupid but we did survive. 🙂 And, the next time you are in Phoenix, go visit either Bisbee (our favorite 'ghost town') or Jerome. Both places are a lot of fun.
ОтветитьAnother Arizonian that experienced the 122F high temperature. How far out from age 65 should we be reaching out to an independent agent to ask for quotes? I don't like leaving things for the last minute, and like to read through my options.
Ответить104, cant remember where but it was in the US
ОтветитьI am a native. I experienced the high of 122! Thank you for your videos. They are extremely helpful.
Ответить116
ОтветитьDitto 122, It's a dry heat. 🤪
ОтветитьPhoenix native here. I delivered mail in 122 degrees. The thermometer inside my postal vehicle read well above that.
ОтветитьI Live in Avra Valley, 28 miles NW of Tucson. I have 3 separate temperature sensors and this summer all 3 made it to 122. Thank you for this video, each one I learn a little more on each one, and a bit more of confusion the more I "learn".
ОтветитьI moved to Phoenix in August & we had several days of 120 & above. I had moved from CO & it was such a shock! This past summer was brutal. I have experienced 121 & it is rough.
Ответить117 degrees
ОтветитьI have experience around 120 degree heat in the North Central Valley of California!
