This is very weird. It's almost the same as the original TaeKwonDo manual depicts but almost everything is slightly different.
How can changing things slightly be justified? imagine if these changes had to be ratified by The General (if he was still alive) or a panel of ITF original experts., he/they would just say
:No'.
For example: After a punch: Reaction force not going back to the hip level, but back to the ribs. In TaeKwonDo this is wrong.
The release after the knife hand twin rising block is wrong!.
The stance after the crescent kicks is wrong.
And why, oh why do Americans insist upon Kihap halfway through a pattern?????
Thanks that someone keeps the original forms of Taekwondo, Hyungs, alive. The younger generation needs to know that the sinus wave and the oral sound has been added to the original forms to Turn it to what we know as Tull today.
ОтветитьBeautiful, absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for the demonstration.
ОтветитьI learned the hyungs in the 80s, they are superior to the Tuls and WTF taeguks, due to the absence of energy dissipation (sine technique) and preservation of powerful complex traditional techniques. The WTF has lost its way in this manner. ITF needs to return to Hyungs.
Ответитьall the talk of "original" taekwondo, the guideline is the general's encyclopedia. he built taekwondo based on his knowledge of other styles. shotokan and teakyon form the basis and sinwave is described in the encyclopedia. the itf form WITH sinewave is how choi meant it. all other forms use the tuls or hyongs but perform it differently than choi has described. the major global forms that follow the itf style have many similarities. we call it taekwondo. accept the sinewave and breathing techniques and only at the end of the tul should the name of the tul be mentioned. kihaps do not belong in this style.
