It’s very common to struggle with winter training. The cold, darkness, and time changes can mess with your circadian rhythm and motivation to get out the door. On a snowy day like today, we all have a choice to make - are we going to stay in bed, hit snooze, and try to catch up on our workouts later?
Or are we going to continue with a disciplined routine and put our shoes on and get out the door? Today, I had to decide between a treadmill workout, and having fun outdoors before an early 8AM call started my workday. I chose to go play outside, and it transformed my entire day. Here’s a glimpse of my run and what drives me to keep working hard throughout the winter months!
