How many 2X4 does it take?
ОтветитьI have the same table saw, how do you like yours? I love mine.
ОтветитьI bought the plans with the intent to modify for some RH cushions I picked up. Could you tell us the depth of the seat, from the front to the back rest slats?
ОтветитьI'll give this one a shot. Thanks.
ОтветитьWhat’s the cost of each chair if carder wood is used?
Ответитьonde encontro as medidas ?
Ответитьexcelente trbalho
ОтветитьExelente trabajo saludos desde Costa Rica pura vida bendiciones
ОтветитьGreat video - so I bought your plans and made this chair today. Thanks.
ОтветитьI recently built a chair that looks like this but I think yours is better. I want to try again following your steps.
ОтветитьHey man thank you for the video, I couldn't afford the plans but I ended up using your video to get a basic idea to build these beautiful chairs. Thank you so much from a young woodworker. If you need any black walnut slabs let me know brother. Thank you
ОтветитьAny plan
ОтветитьWhat are all of the dimensions of the chair looking to build one
ОтветитьI bought 3 plans how do you acknowledge you received the request and when they are mailed out?
ОтветитьThat's a mighty fine chair
ОтветитьGreat work. Will try next March now it is too cold.
ОтветитьGreat video! Quick question, Is there any benefit to finishing the slats before you assemble? Seems like you would have unfinished sides of the boards that moisture could get into. Would that matter?
ОтветитьNice work and good explained 👍
Ответить64 Yr old female... followed your plans very happy. If I can do it ....
ОтветитьIs this big enough for cushions? I don’t see the measurements so I’m wondering if cushions would push you too far forward?
ОтветитьHi Pete. Thanks so much for putting this video together and putting the plans out there for us to use. I was wondering if you thought it would be okay to use 2 inch brad nails instead of screws to fasten the seat and back slats to the 2x4s? Thanks again.
ОтветитьAbout how many 2x4 did u use for each chair
ОтветитьThanks for amazing video and details. I used basic concepts from your video and the plan but built using walnut. For structure i used walnut gun stocks which i bought from the company which looks like going out of business. So used 4 gun stocks $5 each and for seat/back and armrest used some other reclaimed really old walnut milled in 1952. Enjoyed the overall build process. I hope you like how it came out.
Ответитьgood afternoon it was my first job you sneezed at me in 2018 i had an accident being unable to work because i decided to sit down and do something to pass my time i saw your videos
ОтветитьThanks Pete for a great video and plans, I will try this out and put it on my list to do....Cheers.
ОтветитьSimple design but I love it
ОтветитьFantastic now where can I buy this chair because I am not good at carpentry work?
ОтветитьI'm making a full set of a sofa and two chairs from your plans for our screened in porch. Made the first chair and it runed out great.
ОтветитьWow!!! So simple and nice.
ОтветитьExcellent! This will be one of my first builds!
Many thanks!
Used your side dimensions to build a back yard garden bench. Used the angles from another video. That way I had a sloped seat as well as the back. Used 2x4s for the back and seat instead of 1x4s. Thanks for the help. Turned out really great!
ОтветитьThe finished product makes it look like it was hard to make, but this guide shows it’s easy if you know what you’re doing
ОтветитьEn español por favor
ОтветитьGreat plans, thanks! I had to make one modification - I lack the skills to make the notch in the front legs for the 2x6 (gave up after two tries) so just cut the 2x6 shorter (25”) and used 4” screws from the sides. Seems to hold OK. I made two of them, and (once I got over my roadblock of the notches) they were super easy to build.
Ответитьsi m das la medida de esa silla maestro muchas vendiciones
Ответить👍💓
ОтветитьRyobi rules i love their tools, great video thanks
ОтветитьMeshures please I'm froom guatemalacyti cool
ОтветитьAngle the seat slightly? Has anyone done that?
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰
ОтветитьHow much would you sell/buy one of these for???
ОтветитьCurious if the plan could be modified so that the seat angles back some. How would that work?
ОтветитьGreat step by step instructions
ОтветитьGreat plans! I used pressure treated lumber because cedar is hard to come by and expensive these days and widened it by 2 inches. I also beefed up the seat and back slats with 5/4 PT deck treads because I had them left over. Very Happy with the outcome. Once it dries out I'll seal it and paint it and it should last a heck of a long time!
ОтветитьWould this work using composite decking?
ОтветитьI made these chairs & im ready to stain them, what wood putty do you use for the screw holes, I have yet to find a putty that doesn’t leave white splotches,
ОтветитьParvez Aslam good thanks so much love u 🇵🇰 very good
ОтветитьCan anyone direct me to a similar chair, but armless? Front legs need to be straight like this, back angled like this. (To create a sectional).
ОтветитьHi Pete. In the downloaded plans, the cut list shows the armrest supports as 25", however in the diagram for that section they are marked as 24". Which is correct?
Ответитьis the shopping list for 2 chairs or 1 planning on building this weekend
