What is the difference between chinese and mandarin.
@🇿🇦
Mastering a language (or any other thing) pertains effort. One's effort determines one's proficiency!
ОтветитьLearning phrases in any language is helpful imho. You should be so proud of yourself! I cannot seem to learn to read and write though I speak 3 dialects. Well done, Amy!
ОтветитьWow. Watching this video vs the current videos and your Chinese has gotten insanely good!
ОтветитьAny Chinese here want to learn a third language besides Chinese and English? I am having hard time deciding.
ОтветитьHi! I have been in China for 16 years but really struggle to study and get a structure, besides language books. I started also with Tele Novelas my husband recommended to me, but they are a bit ahead of my level. I also tried to read Tin Tin and it took me a day to figure out one page of the comic. Definitely, thank you for your hints on how you tackle the language and for reassuring me that it is a long grinding process!
Ответить👍❤
Ответить很不错的澳洲女孩儿,很不错的视频,可以教我怎么学英语。为什么没有人用中文留言?
Ответитьyou speak amazingly Chinese.
ОтветитьRating 10.11 or 8.11

ОтветитьInspiring! I am learning Chinese with Duolingo and my girlfriend is Chinese. I think it's a great start? I plan to travel to China this year. Thanks!!
ОтветитьFudan is da best!!
ОтветитьIt's unreasonable how perfect your teeth are.
Ответитьthis september I will be going to BLCU for a semester to study chinese. Till now, I always studied chinese online, through courses with native teachers or by my own. 2 years ago I got my HSK 3 and I was so proud but when I started studying for HSK 4 I encountered a barrier and felt that the only way to progress at a piece that would not crush my soul was to go to china. SO finally I get the opportunity to improve my chinese and this video really come in handy. Thank you so much
Ответитьyour English is very good but pronounce should be leveled up.
ОтветитьI’m from America, my 1st language is English, and my 2nd language is Spanish. My dream languages to learn are
German 🇩🇪
French 🇫🇷
Russian 🇷🇺
Italian 🇮🇹
Romanian 🇷🇴
Portuguese 🇵🇹
Greek 🇬🇷
Finnish 🇫🇮
Dutch 🇳🇱
Hungarian 🇭🇺
Bulgarian 🇧🇬
Czech 🇨🇿
Polish 🇵🇱
Ukrainian 🇺🇦
Estonian 🇪🇪
Catalan 🇪🇸
Norwegian 🇳🇴
Icelandic 🇮🇸
Afrikaans 🇿🇦
Yiddish 🕎
Serbian 🇷🇸
Albanian 🇦🇱
Gaelic Irish 🇮🇪
Swedish 🇸🇪. I hope to study these languages separately, and the 1st language I ever learnt was Russian. I learnt Russian when I was either 6, 7, or 8 when I randomly found a Russian alphabet video on you tube. I’m 18 now, and I still know remembering learning Russian around 10 years ago.

ОтветитьYour Chinese better than mine - and i did 2 years of schooling before I came to Australia. Def kudos
ОтветитьI'm a Chinese and the first English book I read in order to dive deep into English was also Harry Potter. What a lovely coincidence!
Ответитьi’m chinese canadian, but my parents spoke to me in english so my mandarin is of a toddler. your story is really motivating for me to embark and continue my chinese journey!
ОтветитьI don’t know how I learn Chinese. But I agree with you. Learning any language is a journey. It must cost time and effort.
Ответитьim chinese and came to the states when I was 9. I remember reading chinese HP and english HP books side by side to help myself learn english
Ответить😂 我觉得,我一个人唱”我的歌声里” 歌
I thought I was the only one singing “我的歌声里” 😅
I discovered your channel through your Xiamen video and have started binging your video's from the beginning. Although I'm originally from Fuqing, Fujian, I grew up in the Netherlands and my chinese is bad. Your video's are so fun, inspirational and I love your personality ❤
Ответитьlearning chinese for 2years I am so happy so see/hear your video.
ОтветитьWhat I do is to be good at recognizing characters, I learn it mainly for the shows and music and do most stuff online. So I am mainly just typing in Pinyin. Might not be the best way, but it works for what I want to do with Chinese.
Ответить👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Ответитьlove your food videos and just found this as i'm looking for tips to learn some other languages -- love our cute "reverse" coincidence: i was born in china and moved abroad young, and my first full book in English was also Harry Potter!!!
ОтветитьMy daughter went to France for an one year exchange, staying with a host family.
She'd learnt French for two years in school before, but for the first few months, she's basically dumb and deaf. The she said after a few months, she suddenly began to hear and speak.
Like what Amy says, immerse in the language environment, work on it and it'll come.
Where can we watch the Chinese bridge competition?
ОтветитьLove your passion for Chinese culture. Do you speak the tongue of Australia’s Indigenous Peoples?
ОтветитьYou're so beautiful.
Ответитьamazing video. 20 minutes passed like 5, easy to follow and understand
Ответить"My highest qualification so far is completing secondary school. I'm deeply fascinated by the Chinese language and culture and have a strong desire to pursue Chinese Literature. I understand I'll need to take an intensive language course first, but I can't help wondering—will it really be worth it in the end? I feel like I'm at a crossroads and could use some advice. If anyone has insights or experience in this field, please drop a comment. I'm in a strange place right now, and any guidance would mean a lot!"
ОтветитьSo awesome congrats!!! I married a Chinese American husband, and decided to start studying!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThank you for this fascinating video, and the hint about the "Pleco" translation app !
ОтветитьHaha, you are a very good student 😊
ОтветитьBecause you are a english native speaker even it's Australian English.
ОтветитьI totally get that. Learning Chinese is no joke. I struggled a bit too. Then I started using Coachers. It helped a lot, especially with those immersion techniques. My language skills have really improved since then.
ОтветитьWahoo cant wait to visit love to hear a couple of tips to help me at canton fair in april 2025
ОтветитьThanks for the tips ☺️
ОтветитьNi hao ma is what we Cantonese say.
ОтветитьThat reality show about people all over the world testing their chinese language will be great to watch!!, i will try to look it up later definitely.
Ответитьmeanwhile, I am very jealous of you and other foreigners who have mastered Chinese because I am a heritage Chinese born in Australia and over the course of my life I have only reached B1 or year 2. I am a teen, only been to China once before when I was very young but I get to go again in a month! So my speaking/listening is okay/good, my reading/writing is extremely bad and my volcabulary is very limited. I've always really wanted to be fluent in Chinese but didn't know where to start. Thank you so much!!
