Anacondas would feel perfectly at home in the moist swampy grasslands and glades, since they are boas, from the jungles of South America; the pythons , are not native to the Americas, but originate from Africa and Asia. Anacondas, being of the boa family have live young, whereas pythons lay eggs. Reticulated pythons are the longest snakes on record, but anacondas, rival them in length and are heavier bodied. Burmese pythons are also quite large in length, but not as long as the Reticulated python, None of them are the sort of snakes you want to run into, and can eat pets, and even kids have been taken by them in the jungles where they come from. Not something you want breeding and spreading in areas people will be sharing

Anacondas are not pythons. Reticulated pythons are said to be longer than anacondas, but anacondas are thicker and heavier bodied. They both can get over 20 feet.

With modern technology and surveilance, We dont know 100% where these snakes came from (pet trade, dumping, escape, change in migration, etc.).
Yet scientists claim to know what prehistoric animals were like, millions of years ago, by looking at their bones...

They swam here from the ocean? That effing reporter needs to double check his effing train of thoughts.

Florida is fucked. Anacondas and Pythons together are really gonna kill everything in Florida and all the states warm enough for them to live year round.

Actually anacondas are afraid of humans, they tend to run away from humans. When humans corner the snake, it attacks. Pythons are more violent towards humans than anacondas.

They aren't invasive and encounters with them are very unlikely their only listed as such because of their size and the variety of things they can eat. If people stopped destroying the planet then maybe these animals wouldn't be trying to fill niches that humans have destroyed by their interference.

green anaconda livebirth litter size can give birth to 20-40 young. The size of the litter is generally associated with the size of the female. The largest litter on record was 82 young i wonder what can that do ecosystems in Florida Burmese pythons have been known to eat alligators in Florida green anaconda can do the same

The Everglades is the same as our Pantanal here in Brazil. If anacondas are introduced into this ecosystem it will be difficult to eradicate them.
