I’ve watched since Jackie laid her eggs and Shadow always close by. Now that Sunny and Gizmo are going their own way hopefully the nest won’t be abonded forever. I pray🙏 for their safety and will always remember the great learning experience with them.💜👵🏻

Hey David they will not fledge anyday now as you say, Sunny and Gizmo haven't branched outside the nest I think they will fledge at least till the end of the month or even the 1st week of June

I remember watching Eagles in SC at Lake Murray on the light pole. SC&G had to reroute the electrical lines. We were so proud of watching the first eagle family there.

It has been such a joy watching Jackie and Shadow raise Sunny and Gizmo. From Jackie’s stick obsession to keep their nest safe for her family, and their fierce hunting skills bringing in countless fish daily. They show so much patience and love with Gizmo and Sunny. During these turbulent times, checking on them has become one of my favorite daily activities. ❤

Something about this broadcast rubs me the wrong way. Maybe the facts he got wrong? The moderators have been so careful to be accurate with information. We don’t know if they are brother and sister. They were named by school children in the area, not the non-profit. And I don’t think they are fully grown, are they? I’m not sure what constitutes fully grown, but it was explained the eagles won’t be fully mature with the head covered in white feathers for 5 years. I think it’s the way he casually throws out the wrong information that bothers me so much.

Still sad that one died in the very beginning. Didn't know if Gizmo would grow strong, but he's coming along now.
