That's a mighty powerful shotgun he's armed with. You'll note several of the villains are also armed with shotguns in the final battle, but none are as magnificent as his double barreled beauty.

Wonder which is more believable: 18-20 rounds from a 7 shot 1911 or surviving a neck shot that likely took out a jugular vein and a carotid artery.

The reason the bad guy was crying when he pulled the last gun out is because he realised bacon got it from his own father

Most of this scene had a no music and it made things so much better music was used to intensify certain parts but overall being able to just hear the gunshots and screams for most of it made an amazing atmosphere

As a dad this movie speaks to me.

One of the best gunfights in movies. It's not some ultra choreographed fight with flashy cinematics. In grungy, gritty. Kevin Beacon's character is sloppy in his style, as he should be because he's not some super soldier. He's literally just a civilian pushed to vengeance against a criminal gang of thugs who are equally as sloppy with their gun fighting

Best scene in the film is with John Goodman, when Kevin Bacon buys weapons.
The ending was Hollywood drivel.

That was TENCE when he SENT that guy out the window to his DEATH.
Maybe that's why it's called DEATH SENTENCE.....
