Ultra running in the Olympics would be dope
ОтветитьThe Cave visualization will stay with me forever, thank you Courtney, and Cam!
ОтветитьSport that gets you in deepest of all pain caves and you are all alone is free diving. What is in the mind, what kind of suffering a person deep in 250 m has to indure I think is comparable to ultra running. It might be short but the cave is real just made of black water and unlike in ultra running you might never get out.
ОтветитьHonestly.. the MontBlanc course in the Olympics would make the sport absolutely explode
Ответитьwould prefer more of the conversation coming from who's being interviewed
Ответитьyou have to getat least 25 countries to hold events and then petition the ioc to add it as an event
ОтветитьThis pain cave mindset is like a meditation thing... its like a mantra
ОтветитьE need the iron cowboy interview!
ОтветитьWhat a great episode!! Courtney is ddfinitely my biggest idol in running too :)
I would love if you could have gone a little deeper into the issue of diet: Like, is Courtney counting calories or is she just listening to her body?
Courtney, I love to listen to you! I laughed out loud so many times during the conversation. Thank you for being you and sharing yourself with the world 😊😊
ОтветитьIf the Olympics can have break dancing then adding ultra running should be a no brainer
ОтветитьJust a theory...Good n Plenty licorice content must provide some kind of ultra running stomach/digestive super power. Love this episode, keep going!!
ОтветитьAs I understand it. you need to have a central sports body to be an Olympic sport. Ultra running will need to organise before it will happens,
ОтветитьI could listen to Courtney all day!! 🙏🏽
ОтветитьMy question would be, " Would Courtney ever consider becoming a coach,or go back to teaching?"
ОтветитьIt’s hard to understand how someone so sweet and genuine as Courtney can hang out with somebody who supports people like Donald Trump, who are clearly none of that same caliber
ОтветитьI fell off the running wagon months ago. This is the kick I needed to get off my ass and back in the trails.
ОтветитьIncredible conversation awesome 😎. My pain cave is years in the sauna in agony. Learned More about life in the sauna than any human could ever show me. Legitimately. The Heat Cave
Ответить❤
ОтветитьA run that lasts the entirety of the 10 day olympics(or whatever it’s). 24/ hr relay to next teammate for your country. Country that makes it the longest distance accumulated wins
ОтветитьAwesome conversation! Thank you for sharing. Loved the Bible story and Courtney’s description of the pain cave.
ОтветитьCourtney hut the nail on the head - what is the format? Ultras adventurous nature seems against the nature of the Olympics.
ОтветитьI saw First Blood in the theatres. All time favorite movie
ОтветитьTwo of my favorites! Great as individuals however whenever they get together it’s a real treat for the audience and a priceless experience… kinda like when Gideon is on the podcast—LOL 😂Thanks Cam, thanks Courtney!
ОтветитьI feel like if ultrarunning was in the Olympics a multi day stage race with a mix of road and trail could be fun to follow
ОтветитьHuberman should study Courtney 😁
ОтветитьThis episode was so great. Learning more about the pain cave was so fascinating.
ОтветитьI think the Olympics would be great and with that backing the sport. There would be a lot more ability to Cover this sport.
ОтветитьI think people who can and regularly visualize - the pain cave does not feel crazy at all.
ОтветитьI'm really glad you got into the specific discussion of the pain cave because, like Cam, I never knew exactly what you were talking about. And I think it's very good advice for people. It's like when someone is doing something painful, like getting a shot or getting a tattoo and they tell them "go to your happy place"... Well, maybe you shouldn't go to your happy place, you should go to a dark scary place like the pain cave? ✌️
ОтветитьAwesome ! I'm not even a runner but this conversation was interesting
ОтветитьCourtney, you are so awesome! You give me strength!
ОтветитьI feel like ultra running has large similarities to endurance swimming, usually up against yourself and the environment as opposed to other sports where its win vs defeat against other people.
Ross Edgley would be an amazing guest!
Running the torch isn't that an ultra marathon
ОтветитьThe black licorice 💫 and as a Swede, you need the salty licorice 😍
ОтветитьSharing the trail with both of you was awesome !!!
ОтветитьI can’t imagine why more people don’t watch you two
ОтветитьWe need another podcast with Taylor about spike camp!
ОтветитьLOVE COURTNEY ❤️ .....I just love her as a human being.
ОтветитьWhere can I get that t-shirt you have on?
Ответить🙏🏼🐐🙏🏼🐐🙏🏼
ОтветитьNew to running at the ripe age of 60. Could barely do a mile ten months ago. I'm up to 5+ miles on my long run, and I feel it the next day. Can't imagine doing 100, much less 30 miles. I hope to be there one day. Amazing y'all did that. Definitely inspired.
ОтветитьWhy does Courtney dodge a lot of questions in all of her interviews. She keeps everything hush hush and doesn’t give much depth on anything relating to her running.
ОтветитьGreat episode! You guys should also look into doing a podcast and lift run shoot with William Goodge. He ran across America and has a cool story!
ОтветитьI hope this sport makes the olympics.
ОтветитьExcellent. Would love to know what verse that shrapnel landed on! 👏🙌🔥❤️
ОтветитьTHE GOAT
ОтветитьBlack licorice FTW!
