U guys should check out a game called wargame airland battle...its a very realistci real time strategy game with very good graphics and great gameplay: its a pact v. Nato clash in the 1980s

This would have been SO COOL to play.. 30 years ago when I was like 7.

Hi,
I'm the Original Poster. Six years later I'm adding an appendage that increasingly one thing many newer wargame rules are doing is adding dynamic "Command and Control" mechanics. These rules give players more command options forcing them to make dramatic decisions to impact their game. Check out rules such as Sharp Practice for games with greater emphasis on command choices.

Paddy Griffith(you don't know him? Better find out!) used to say the figures and models wrecked the historical as they gave too much information, indeed, they took up too much space, distortting the historical tactics. Besides, the uniforms are wrong, where's the mud and black powder?
