Splatoon 1's Splatfest music is unbeatable!
Pearl and Marinas music was meh.

I just noticed that together thier names make the word calamari. Which makes sense because they are squids. Clever move there Nintendo

I love that their little hats bounce

They've never been able to recapture the sheer feel-good mood of the original game's soundtrack. This is definitely the best Splatfest theme.

While I absolutely love Off the Hook and Deep cut, the squid sisters will forever have a special place in my heart.

When the last splatfest happened for splatoon 2, I was really sad because this was the last time I would here that song, I voted for chaos and guess what, it frickin won lol

These dances are definitely humanly possible, and yet they aren’t on TikTok. I’m confused but also happy that this hasn’t been tainted by the E-Girls

Something about them, the dance and the tune just makes me feel great 👍

Happy 8th anniversary Splatoon

My wife and i used to play Splatoon 1 while my daughter was in her playpen. She LOVED watching the Squid Sisters at Splatfest.

Now she's almost 9 and LOVES playing Splatoon 2 and 3 (she also has all the manga and is even going as an inkling for Halloween). The Squid Sisters are her favourite idols. 😂

I’ve never played Splatoon 1, but the squid sisters are my favorite Splatoon idols and I really wish I could play Splatoon 1 during a splatfest.

Splatoon is a game I very much enjoyed. Unfortunately 1 was the last one I really got into. My biggest complaint was how early they ended the Splatfests. I only got to enjoy like 2 before the cut it off. Each following Splatoon release I either didn't know about in good time or didn't have the means to get until late into its release so I never bothered since I know I'd enjoy way fewer Splatfests than the early joiners.
