Mahalo Rudy, your in depth review could literally save lives. Just ordered the same knife myself. I almost died with a leg strap getting tangled in my shooting line at the end of a long breathe hold. Blade length, accessibility, and corrosion resistance are all such important variables for this tool 🤙🏽

My favorite thing about Riffe knives are the sheaths. They are designed for a loop bungee lanyard, to wrap around the bottom of the sheath. This uses the elasticity of the bungee to pull the knife into the sheath, adding another level of retention.

You mean millimeters, which is mm, not cm, which is centimeters? A blade length of 107cm is almost 4 feet long, while 107mm is a little bit over 4 inches long.

Had the Salvi Predathotmr, nice little knife but only for small game. Mine broke inside a barracuda skull. Currently using the Salvimar Goemon. The cressi is good one too
